KANGOLI Blasts NCW for taking action against Vivek Oberoi's tweet

Vivek Oberoi shared a distasteful meme on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but while most of them are fuming at his tweet; Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli is more upset with the National Commission For Women. Read on.

Unless you are living under the rock, you would know the amount offlak Vivek Oberoi has been receiving on social media over his meme on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Laughing it off as a 'creative' joke, Vivek happened to repost a meme that tagged Aishwarya and Salman as an 'opinion poll', Vivek and Aishwarya as the 'exit poll' and Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya as the final result. Definitely something that cannot be passed as a mere joke. However, while most of them including Bollywood celebs like Sonam Kapoor, Urmila Mantondkar, Madhur Bhandarkar slammed Vivek for stooping so low. Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli is more infuriated by the National Commission For Women (NCW) after knowing that they have stated to take strict action against Vivek for demeaning Aishwarya, publicly.

Mentioning how none of them from the NCW helped Kangana Ranaut during her row with Hrithik Roshan, Rangoli has gone on an angry rant on Twitter calling them 'fraud' and how they have caused the death of feminism in India. She has in fact also referred to Vivek's meme as a 'childish' 'stupid joke' and is upset that the commission for Women has time for all this but not when her sister Kangana needed them the most. Meanwhile, Vivek in his defence is unapologetic about the meme and feels he did no wrong or is not demeaning towards anyone. "People are saying apologise, I have no problem in apologising, but tell me what wrong have I done? If I have done something wrong I will apologise. I don't think I have done anything wrong. What's wrong in it? Somebody tweeted a meme and I laughed at it. I don't know why people are making a huge issue out of it. Someone had sent me a meme which made fun of me. I laughed on it and I appreciated the person for his creativity. If someone mocks at you, you should not take it seriously. Those in the meme don't have a problem, but everyone else has. Kaam karne jaate hain nahi non-issues ke upar netagiri shuru kar dete hain. Did I put someone behind bars for a meme, people are like I should be put behind bars too. They couldn't stop my film, now they are trying this", said Vivek in interaction with ANI.
