This is my first try to write on our favorite DriKshit. Do read it and share your views.
One Shot
Care and concern
Picnic day ended but it was long and tiring day specially for Rakshit. First it was a long drive till picnic spot then Mrs shergil goes missing and he was hell worried. He was searching her every where but his family was not at all worried for drishti and went away for mandir but he can't leave her like this heart was screaming that Mrs shergil is in some sort of danger finally he found her all wounded and in unconscious state. Panic rushes across his veins he tenderly took her head in his lap and calls out her name not getting any response he cups her face and says: Mrs shergil open your eyes see I am here you are fine please open your eyes.
She murmurs: Divi... Save her.. he was not getting what his Mrs shergil trying to say he gathers her in his arms and says: you are not fine Mrs shergil you need medical attention I will not let anything happen to you you are safe with me . He holds her closer to his heart as if trying to make himself assure that everything is fine.
She opens her eyes slowly and looks at Rakshit who sigh in relief seeing her responding. She meekly mouths his name: Rakshit....sir.. he nods in response and says: haan mein hi Hoon drishti.. you are fine.. she wraps her injured arm around his neck and says: mein thek Hoon..
She closes her eyes and rest her head on his chest seeing her closing her eyes fear gotten into him that he says: don't close your eyes.. look at me.. she hardly opens her eyes and looks at the panic striken face of her be-dil shergil she moves her hand and rest her palm on his cheek and says: don't worry Rakshit sir. Rakshit looks at her and says: just stay... Stay...
Back to shergil mansion Rakshit enters his room and finds drishti resting with closed eyes he looks at side table and finds that food is still kept untouched. He walks towards her and calls her name: Mrs shergil..
Listening to him she opens her eyes and looks at him, Rakshit settles beside her and takes the plate and says: why you havent eaten anything
Drishti replies that she was not feeling like to eat Rakshit gives her a glare and says: wow Mrs shergil this is height of foolishness.. or I say craziness. Kabhi kabhi muje lagta hai tum abhi bhi bachi ho man Kiya Bina sochy samjhe us khandar mein chali gayi kiyon because you find it interesting and now when you should eat something you are not eating
Drishti: please Rakshit sir
Rakshit: I will not listen to you quietly eat all this then you need to have medicine also. Drishti was about to say something but Rakshit takes a morsel and put it into her mouth drishti looks at him while Rakshit gives her a whatever look, put the plate in her lap and says: now don't start imagining me as your prince charming.
Drishti: meine aisa kuch nhe socha Mr shergil.
Rakshit gets up and says: good finish this all and have your medicine then sleep I am feeling too tired. Saying this he takes his side of bed and lays facing other side while drishti says: thank you Rakshit sir apne Meri jaan bachayi
Rakshit replies good night while drishti keep looking at him and wonders: AP Kiya ho Rakshit sir I can't understand you. She shook her head and finishes her dinner and lays to sleep but it was far away from her eyes she was not getting why Divi is behaving indifferent with her and who was behind her to kill her. She needed to get into the depth of this matter. Soon she too drifted into Dreamland.
It was midnight when Rakshit felt some movement beside him first he tries to it ignore it but the thought that might be Mrs shergil need something he opens his eyes and turns to looks at drishti one. He finds that she is shivering in fear and mumbling: aag aag.. bachao somebody help.she will kill me Divi.. Divi bachao He realizes that she is having a bad dream he calls out her name and touches her shoulder and slightly shook her to make her come out of the dream drishti jerks his hand and gets up all scared
Rakshit moves closer and says: drishti he tries to hold her to make her calm down. A distraught drishti hugs him like hiding herself in his secure and warm embrace. Knowing that this incident has effected her too much he wraps his arms around and tries to console her.
Rakshit: you are safe Mrs shergil looks at me
Drishti: wahan har taraf aag thi I thought.. I thought mein Mar jaongi
Rakshit pulls her apart forcefully and sternly says: drishti.. don't ever say this. Mein tumhain kuch nhe hone donga kabhi.
He wipes her tears and says: mein jis Mrs drishti good shergil ko janta Hoon wo to weak nhe hai wo to shern hai. He makes her drink water while drishti was looking at him.
Rakshit tries to make her lay again but she resist and says: nhe. Rakshit looks at her and says: Kiya hua. She tries to get up but he holds her hand and says: where are you going. She looks at him and says: AP sojain mein theek Hoon apko Meri itni fikar nhe karni chahiye
Rakshit: I know how much you are fine. Aur iss khushfehmi mein mat raho Kay muje tumhari fikar hai He left her hand while she makes her way out of the room he looks at her retreating figure. He frustratedly Huff's and gets up to follows her silently because after the recent incident and her continuous self talk about danger and mention of one eyes woman his intuition is saying that her life is in danger. He can't be at peace till mrs shergil is not safe.
Drishti reaches the balcony and looks at the sky. She felt a presence behind her a sudden fear grip her heart but soon she relaxes as Rakshit stands beside her and says: Kiya hua hai Mrs shergil.
Drishti: nothing Mr shergil bus saans nhe a Rahi thi to socha khuli hawa lay loon.
Rakshit looks at her and thinks: I don't know when you will share your worries Mrs shergil. I will be patient enough to wait till you open up with me. Drishti kept looking at sky trying to find the answers to her questions while Rakshit was looking at his wife.
Rakshit: aisa kiya dikh Raha hai asmaan mein
Drishti: bus aise hi. AP yahan... Mere peechy peechy agaye
Rakshit: tumhare Bina aik minute nhe reh sakta...Mrs shergil.. he says leaning towards her. She gets conscious and says: Rakshit sir.
Rakshit looks into her eyes and says: I can't take any risk Mrs Shergil aj tumne bohat pareshaan Kiya muje. Na Jane kaise jab bhi mein tumhare saath nahe hota tum khud ko nayi musibat mein phansa leti ho. You know prevention is better than cure to muje lagta hai Kay I should keep an eye on you.
Drishti smiles at his care and concern and says: to Mr shergil AP mere bodyguard ban gayi Hain. Right
Rakshit: wrong Mrs shergil mein Pati Hoon tumhara bodyguard nhe.
Rakshit hold her hand and says: raat bohat ho gayi hai let's just sleep tumhe aur muje dono ko rest chahiye. Drishti looks at him and nods both walks back holding hand in hand till their room. Both settle in the bed,drishti holds her head feeling pain. Rakshit looks at her and makes her carefully lay on bed
drishti: acha hai Mr shergil
Rakshit: Kiya
Drishti: ye care concern apni biwi Kay liye.good night she turns her face not waiting for his reply while Rakshit too smiles lightly and thinks about her words. Drishti sleeps in no time while Rakshit was looking at her. He removed the loose strands of hair from her face and touches her forehead and says: good night drishti. He too closes his eyes and drifted into Dreamland.
