Angry Chorni and Credit Chor can establish their own chor bazaar and stay there. So, I was right about the writers making Mishti forget her moments with Abir. 👏👏

I didn't know smoke inhale karne se itna trauma ho jaata hai ki saans ke saath yaadein bhi chali jaati hai. Carbon monoxide inhale kiya tha ya ganja? Like Ghajini who? Wish Mishti forgot the whole episode with Naman this way too so we could be spared of being reminded of it every episode.

They didn't even have the decency to finish the horrid precap scene in today's episode. Abir should just fly away with those balloons. 'Udd Chala'....you know.

@Sutapasima- Multi-starrers are just not ITV's forte anymore. I wonder why 'cause they've produced shows like DMG, MJHT, Kekta's serials and Rajan Shahi's own Bidaai. They've completely lost the ability to balance storylines between characters. Now, 1-2 characters hog all the limelight while the rest have nothing to do. Kunal is still getting some screen space rn due to his rishta with Mishti but it does not garner positive attention, so IDK if Ritwik will stick with this. 🤷‍♀️ As for Kaveri, IDK why she signed this show because Rajan Shahi shows have nothing for parallel leads anymore.

You know even I had high hopes when I saw nanu catching on - but practically what is going to happen? Kunal and Mishti say yes to the relationship - so presumably both are happy with each other. It's one sided love for Abir. So nothing is going to happen with nanu knowing.

Are the makers trying to show that even if you get engaged, if u fall in love with someone else then #noisanoption?! Then what is the point of the courtship. Courtship was to know the groom well, be sure and then say yes. Not go ahead because society and then realise you made a mistake and are in love with someone else!!!!!

Eeeek what a mess. I don't know how to hell they are going to justify anything once they go ahead with the engagement.

And how so gross for Kunal and Mishti to go from ex-fiances to bil-sil!!!! Eww.

Why couldn't tell third angle be anyone else? Why Abir's brother!!!!

This is actually all intentional by writers. The reason being is that mishti wants to marry someone who would look after her, who she can trust and who would never ditch her like her father. The writers have made both mishti and maheshwari's believe kunal is that perfect match for mishti who will always look after her so that later they get to know they were looking in the wrong place the whole time and mishti's perfect husband material is in fact the person they were all over-looking. This is all for the sake of drama. I think kunal here will have a hand in maheshwari's/ mishti getting to know abeer is the one who has been mishti's saviour in all the times she was in danger as well as the one who gave him all the ideas to impress mishti. Kunal will probably tell them in a casual moment when mishti or maheshwari's are thanking him, he thinking it is no deal and telling them it was abeer who did all that, but it will be a big deal for mishti at least.

But the problem is that kunal has not been honest in sincere in his attempts to get to know mishti or letting mishti get to know him. He's been taking credit for everything abeer does. Mishti thinks so far she knows him well, but mishti also is someone who is thoughtful of maheshwari family, especially in this case where she may feel her demand for martial courtship is turning into a means of embarrassment and shame for the maheshwari's, plus she already feels indebted to them just for taking her in, which is why she's been trying to find a job on her own independently so that she can now look after herself and have her own identity, so it makes sense why mishti would now feel a pressure to give in. She isn't a super woman or completely perfect.

You guys are thinking right now that it will be gross and awkward to see kunal-mishti as bhabhi-devar in the future, but in fact you guys are overthinking and none of us will think about it at the time as we'd all be in lala land with the couples being together. Mark my words, none of you will find it awkward or weird when the time comes. 😆

@sammy, you tend to look at both sides of a coin while judging the characters. excellent job!! It makes sense why MIshti agrees for engagement..but I still can’t digest the fact she completely ignored abir after the fire incident.

I might be in a minority here, but never been a fan of bhaiyya to saiyyan switch and vice versa... definitely going to quit the show if engagement happens.

Yes, I do see your point about Mishti being indebted to the maheshwaris and giving in, but it just seems very convenient on the writers' part - I mean, to push the track ahead. Not plausible enough, at least for me.

@about devar bhabhi - I don't know, maybe when the couples get together we will be in lala land and not focus much on the past track, buuuuut can't they play it down now and not play the title track during Kunal Mishti scenes????

And it's going to be like a thorn sticking out, you know, when there are abir-kunal-mishti interactions in the future and Kunal has to call Mishti bhabhi! Imagine that. Maybe the makers will keep their scenes to the bare minimum.

Yeah, I didn't like that at all either. I'm still trying to make sense of that part myself. I mean, he was the first one to come and save her before kunal, but the only explanation I can come up with is that because kunal is the one whose marriage is going to be fixed with her, she's making points on him and focusing on his flaws and good points, but she still should have given credit to abeer. I feel she may have done the exact same if it was abeer who she was seeing as her probable suitor, and only focused on her probable suitor in this situation who she is trying to get to know. Again this is me trying to come up with a justification, but whether this explanation makes sense to you guys too is perhaps the only way we can decipher what the writers were thinking when writing mishti's reactions and dialogues after the fire fiasco.
