Ananya's parents requested Karan for her role to be extended in SOTY2

Apparently, the actress’ parents personally approached KJo to do justice to Ananya’s role in the movie.

The one certainty that emerges from the mess created in Student of the Year 2 is the star potential of debutante Ananya Pandey who has definitely scored a higher popularity rating than the films’s other debut actress Tara Sutaria.

Turns out, Ananya’s role was moulded and expanded when she came on board.

Says a reliable source, “Chunky Pandey’s daughter’s role was nothing much to begin with. It was vaguely sketched as a confused and nervous character. But when Ananya came on board, the dynamics of the role changed. The dance and drama was added.”

While both the leading ladies have been given a raw deal as per the ‘boys’ knife out’ combat between Tiger Shroff and Aditya Seal (a la Aamir Khan and Deepak Tijori of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar), Ananya’s presence has been redeemed.

Says the source, “Chunky and his wife Bhavana personally requested Karan Johar to do justice to their daughter’s presence . Hence, what was originally a sketchy role became far more persuasive.”

So where does that leave the film’s other debutante? While Tara does have a couple of promising films including one with Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya on the other hand, has chosen her sophomore movie carelessly. She will next be seen in the remake of B R Chopra’s comedy on infidelity, Pati Patni Aur Woh, where she would be a misfit.

Was that really for ananya. The role wad first meant to be for jhanvi and then sara was in talks. Why would they settle for such a raw deal?

From what I read about the movie she had a terrible role. So maybe before the interference she had really terrible role🤣🤣

(Probs KJo peeved off with RK and Ayan spending a lot of his slush funds 🤣on their 'vision'.. probs KJothinks they go too 'artsy fartsy') ...) then now RK hits back with news bashing KJo and his favoutitism on sayng how Ananya got better role cause ==Ananya parents asking for role to be 'moulded and extended' ( which means making role to fit Ananya best and maker her stand out).

It’s written as if it came from her side but I doubt it. Her PR is handled through Matrix which also handles Ananya and all other Dharma kids. So either this is entirely made up by the tabloids because given KJo’s reputation it is very easy to believe, or someone did it on purpose to either malign KJo or Tara or both because it is so easy to believe.
