Yes, like I said. He did have some feelings for her. Afterall, they have spent 7 years together n had a child. They were resurfacing bcoz now he was alone.

But those feelings were sadly not enough to keep him from straying off. That's where he fell short of true love.

i completely agree with you.I also feel that kunal must have got ready to reunite with mauli for the reasons you gave.everyone expected kunal to fall for mauli again post leap.but it didn't happen or they failed to show it.

My 2 cents. I think Kunal wanted to be back with Mauli, bcoz now:

1.) He was alone with a daughter.

2.) His other daughter was with Mauli.

3.) He knew Mauli was a great woman, and was certainly a better n more mature option for him than any other woman. Plus, he did have some feelings for her before (if not true love), n that helped.

In a nutshell, uniting with Mauli was the most convenient option for him, both emotionally as well as family-wise. That way:

1.) Pari will get a mom.

2.) He will get to be Mishti's dad.

3.) He will reconcile with his mom n dida, and somewhere makeup for his past mistakes with Mauli.

after reading what you wrote I think pari was referring to the memory loss period where maunal lived together but love didn't happen

Even I didn't like that dialogue, but after reading Ur post, I have a thought maybe they were talking about the endgame there? I mean little pari always wanted mauli aunty as her mumma n she shipped maunal like no other. She saw them living together during memory loss, like a married couple n that raised her hopes, but finally mauli claimed to love ishaan, not Kunal, inspite of staying together for quite a long time. So maybe pari is referring to that?🤔

I know doesn't make much sense, but good thought for our sanity😂
