Ridheema Tiwari
Hailing from a small town and having no mentor or guidance from the industry, it becomes even more difficult to make a mark in the tinsel town. Ridheema Tiwari is one such person. She shares, “Initially I wanted to become a journalist and that’s how I landed up in Mumbai, but soon realised acting was my true calling. It wasn’t easy for me as I am not from Mumbai. I have survived on Maggie and idli for days.”
She further adds, “Travelling in the bus, local trains; heading from one audition to the other and not being accepted started to affect my self-esteem. But I had made a promise to myself to not look back. I took up even the smallest of roles, did a lot of trial and error, self-analysis. I always observed and learned from the seniors on the sets and that helped me reach where I am today.
