Alia Bhatt being considered for Aanand L Rai' next?

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who is known for the films Tanu Weds Manu, Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan among others, last directed Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is currently working on a new script. For the same, the director is considering Alia Bhatt for the same. Pinkvilla has learnt that as the first draft for the upcoming untitled movie is complete and Aanand has been considering Alia Bhatt to play the lead role, who he feels will fit the bill perfectly. However, we are yet to discover the plot for the movie.

Currently, Alia has her hands full with as many as five movies in her kitty (Inshallah, RRR, Takht, Brahmastra, Sadak 2). Hence, it will be interesting to see if she signs Rai's movie. Aanand and Alia had come close to working with each other earlier as well, if rumours are to be believed; however, things couldn't materialise then. We can only hope that things work out for the best this time.

Meanwhile, Alia is currently in London for a vacation with her sister, Shaheen. She was last seen in Kalank alongsideVarun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur,Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt among others. Kalank did not perform as per expectations at the box office; however, with a lineup as interesting as hers, Alia has nothing to worry about. 2018 was a successful year for her with Raazi and later Gully Boy performed extremely well at the start of 2019.

Kjo is preoccupied with SOTY 2..Alia ,needs an image makeover ASAP,If he wants to protect his future projects..he needs to find Alia another PR agency.This news seems to be planted by a rival🤪.Alia is sleepwalking thru her films already.Looking tired and Jaded.She needs rest..and sometime away from the media.Many films will suffer if she falls ill.

If Akshay Kumar can Alia can too. Till mid 2000s all A list heroines used to work on multiple projects, ads, stage shows... Aloo toh 50% bhi nahi kar rahi.
