It’s good you realized that. I hated him. I actually liked him more than Madhu until he turned psycho. I loved Madhu until she stood up to RK, but then she went back to him forgetting everythin. I couldn’t like her or connect with her after that. I dislike such women who tolerate all shit of their husbands. But DVD had a really chemistry which I couldn’t ignore. So I liked them for that, but their characters were so bad that I couldn’t even ship them any longer. I hated them together. I wish they were not ruined in the name of so called twists because I really loved the them initially. I am glad at least makers gave them strong tracks to perform for which they are still appreciated and loved. Most characters don’t have the scope for that in Indian shows and very typical

Anyway, after MB was over. I came across few other characters which I hated more than RK as at least he was loyal to wife and wasn’t glorified as much. I hate cheaters, child abusers, fake and hypocrite goody goody characters and such more and I have seen so many shows glorifying such characters. Most characters start out good and then they get ruined. Most characters I liked were ruined later. I thought it was only now that Indian shows glorify wrongs and earlier it was better because I loved some characters in the past like Karan & Nandini, etc when I was a child. But recently when I came across their scenes, I realized how wrong Karan was and many other characters whom I thought were good, but they were not. And some I disliked in childhood were actually done wrong to and that’s why they were the way they were. I was a child then and wasn’t able to see that and many times because I didn’t watch fully to knew the full story as those ekta shows ran for years.

Reckless driving and beating someone black blue and ruining the image of a girl...never fell in the category of kamina thing....it was wrong.

Like me many r.k lovers are now r.k haters.

And even asr is hated now..

Thats growing up.

All these heroes come from mills and boons style...

Mills and boons were full of rk and asr types heroes....thats why the popularity.

He was glorified in the sense that he never got punished. He got what he wanted the most, Madhu and found happiness with her. I really wanted Padmini’s curse to come true, but it didn’t which made me so annoyed. I didn’t hate RK because of drunk driving and the initial stuffs. I didn’t like that, but I still tolerated him and liked him even though I knew he wasn’t perfect. I started hating him during the unwedding nonsense when he crushed an innocent women who selflessly loved and did so much for him, yet he loved her tears and wanted her to see forever in tears and have a life worse than death as he said. He also wanted her to beg for death but not getting it. This was all his wishes which he told Padmini and for which Padmini got so angry that she cursed him. That was pure evil and I couldn’t defend him after that. He became irredeemable after that unwedding and those episodes were extremely heartbreaking. I couldn’t even watch until later and many felt the same way. Later Madhu forgave all that and even started defending him too and even turned hypocrite later in the show. I started hating her. But other than not getting punished, I was glad he wasn’t glorified completely and for the most part he wasn’t. After seeing many worse characters who were shown righteous and all such has made me dislike RK less. I am fine with wrongs as long as people don’t act goody goody and fake righteous. I dislike such people more. I would rather take honest grey characters and vamp characters than such fake positive characters like Kunal, Nandini, Karan, Saanjh and so on. So in that sense, RK was better for me. Yes, girls love such abusive men characters. People say it’s the teenagers who love such characters, but I have also seen 30+ women loving such characters. And beside I was a teen during asr and RK times, but I knew they were wrong. But in real life I guess many women do like such people and put up with it. They annoy me so much. :/

That is bullshit. Mishti knows she does not love veer. She loves Ruhaan. So she is waiting for Ruhaan to confess ? Aur tab tak veer ko haath me rakha hai . Ki if Ruhaan rejects then she will fall back on veer . Basically veer is her backup plan. It doesn't matter if Ruhaan says yes or no. She needs to break up now that she knows she is not in love with veer
