How is raja akarsh father?

How long ago was it that the daayan killed Aakarsh's father the king? I swear it seems like it all happened at least 200 years ago, and if akarsh is their son then akarsh would be old. I simply don't get this akarsh being daayan son story.

Exactly then how jhanvi and akarsh met in school...I think too make thestpry interesting they are losing the plot 🤣
