Hi...... :)

I see many of us are not happy with this stretched cross connection between the leads but I have something to say regarding that :)

Though they are showing cross connection....they have never show Kunal or Mishti forcing their way on eacother....

for instance......

Mishti got angry that Kunal does not pick her phone..but that dint bother her much... where as she got irritated and angry that Abhir does not have a phone and she hit him for that..he he

She keeps searching and Thinking abot Abhir and his words seeks his support in sorting the problem...but never decides to go to Kunal first

She does not touch or hug kunal hak se like she does with Abhir....with whom she is so comfortable

Even Kunal for that matter

He does not bother much to talk to Mishti..but wanted to appologise to Kuhu and is always a bit more comfy talking to Kuhu........

Right now they are not showing cross connection in a negative way....Where Mishti is eagerly wanting to know Kunal or to talk to him.....But this eagerness is there In mishit when it comes to Abhir

Lets see how this cross connection bring all 4 closer....I want to see it

I am sure the CVs will never show Mishti and Kunal actually interested in each other or give them any romantic scenes. The CVs are set on MishBir and KuKu as couples but that's not why I have a problem with this. It's highly awkward that Mishti will end up with Kunal's brother Abir and Kunal will end up with her sister Kuhu. Scenes which show Abir playing matchmaker for Kunal-Mishti or Kuhu calling Kunal jiju are very annoying and in bad taste.

They will use the cross connection to establish that KuKu and MishBir are actually right for each other and not the seemingly well-suited Kunal-Mishti.

Anyway, I hope they give KuKu some more scenes because their interaction right now is really low.

I wonder when the cross-connection will end and MishBir/KuKu can romance in public lol.

For me, the issue with cross connection is not about KM getting touchy feely with each other. That’s not the point. Just cuz they barely talk to each other doesn’t make this an acceptable track 😕

Any story or track, whether good or bad needs a believability factor. The issue with cross connection is the way the marital courtship angle has been brought in. You can’t show Rishta talks of two ppl so least interested in each other and expect the audiences to rejoice 🙄. It only leads to disconnect. They could have shown atleast a little bit general respect and admiration between K and M. Atleast something to explain why they would agree to even consider marriage even if in their hearts they are drawn to Abir and Kuhu. But we are literally shown NOTHING 🙄. It’s all so flimsy and token interactions. Real ppl don’t behave so robotically without any thoughts.

All that you mentioned is true! The fact is makers haven’t shown Kunal and mishti having any interest in knowing each other or spending time with each other ... this is contradictory what mishti verbalized as martial courtship .hope it remains like that even if they stretch this cross connection a bit more.

Precisely this! Mishti sees Abeer as a friend and kunal sees Kuhu as a friend. Kuhu has romantic feelings for Kunal and Abeer does for Mishti. There is no connection between Mishti and Kunal. That is the whole point that Mishti is making. She wants to know Kunal, in capacity of potential husband, before making any decisions.

With Ketaki's failed alliance, the show has come to a point where Mishti's request for getting-to-know-you (GTKY from here on.. I refuse to use the term marital courtship... that's not what Mishti is actually asking for) makes sense. There is no connection between Kunal and Mishti. And that is why I like what I see so far...

I still disagree with the approach 🤷‍♀️ Even to get to know someone you need to have a basic intrigued feeling towards them. Mishti is way too robotic about Kunal and the whole premise lacks conviction for that reason. They are not being able to execute the concept correctly 👎

the problem is makers need to have practical approach but one side they know that audience would not like that type of devar bhabhi talk other side they want to show why mel milap is necessarybut in real life in melmilap both personare interested but the thing not goes properlynot like thisthey should not show this if they have no guts or concept to show devar bhabhi rishta talks or they should practical approach

I think they are basically showing the differences. Mishti doesn't feel anything for Kunal yet everything in today's episode was about Abir for her.

Kunal is a sweetheart but his character is one dimensional. He is boring...lol...he needs Kuhu in his life. I understand they are just setting up the characterizations for the story to progress. I'm sure it will be done tastefully.

I mentioned it in another post yesterday. Mishti looking for a suitor is appearing like she is trying to find a plumber for her bathroom and Kunal agreeing for the rishta appears like he is just appointing a PA in his company. Zero emotion and inclination. Its that robotic and thats my biggest problem 😂

Actually, I think the inconsistency you're seeing is justified by how they've characterised Mishti and Kunal. Neither of them are doing this because they are independently interested in marriage. Both of them are trying to be the acche bacche of their family -- Mishti because, no matter what, she is carrying the bhoj of the Maheshwaris' ehsaan, and Kunal because he's trying to be the reasonable, normal son who holds his mom and brother together.Kunal explicitly said that he will marry whoever his mom says, and finds this whole idea of GTKY (thanks DQ!) very tiresome. He just wants to get this Shaadi box ticked and move on with life. Mishti, to her credit, is giving this an honest try and despite having a connection with Abir already, has consistently attempted to involve Kunal, like she tried to call him first yesterday. She's being made to feel like she's asking for too much even with this shart and if it wasn't for Vishambar's support, Rajshri would have blackmailed her into giving that up too. So she doesn't really want this but the people she loves and feels indebted too are telling her it's what's right so she is trying to see if she can make it work, mostly for them. Most of all, it's all in limbo until Meenu gives the green light, so the lack of initiative makes sense to me.The pacing of the episodes is choppy and they are introducing too many events so it's clouded, but I *think* the whole point of this is irony. Kunal is already doing the GTKY thing with Kuhu unconsciously (he called her directly for a meeting when he told Mishti to make an appointment with his secretary, and they casually talked about things they had in common, like hating poetry). Mishti, who wants to go about this in a practical, formal way hasn't yet given much thought to the fact that she somehow *knows* Abir without really knowing much about him and he trusts her "sabse zyada" without knowing her that well.To speak to the original post, I see what they are trying to do. My only wish is that they would focus on the characters' feelings more and less on dramatic events, but I suppose that's not how we get TRPs now is it?
