Kaho to ek baar phir......Poet Sameer

This particular poem from Sameer is such a gem and I think it is still relevant in the current situation. Infact, some parts are relevant on Naina's behalf as well. I totally love listening to it, especially RDs voice:

Kaho to ek bar phir Chand Taare paas le Aaun!

Ugte Sooraj ki halki si aag le Aaun!

Bas tu muskura de, aankhon se wahi pyaar chalka de!

Bahut dil dukhaya hai, Bahut dil dukhaya hai, yeh maana meine!

Par dard pe marham Lagane ka ek mauka de!

Ab tak itna kuch Padhaya hai,

bas ek baar phir se iss rishte ka hisaab kardo na!

Naina, mujhe Maaf kardo na!

I was so happy when I read in a thread's title Shayar Sameer...I am just mad for Shayari...Infact the only serial I have watched is Ishqbaaz cause of Shayar Omi...But yahan toh Sam ke Shayari ka koi ata pata thi nahi...I was so dejected...So I try to explore Sam's mind through Shayari under my thread titled Shayar Sameer...Kabhi mauka mile toh padhke batayiyega kaisa laga...

This piece and the one during the school trip are both masterpieces...
