No one can love Sameer more than Naina

Every girl drools over his look, his charm and has seen his that side which attracts them. But only Naina has seen his grey side. His stubborn, his crankiness, his anger, his betrayal. It's not easy to deal with him. Before marriage Naina saw the unlimited love that he has for her and dreamt of a fairytale marriage life. After marriage she got the reality check. Any girl would want to marry sameer by seeing his good looks & background. But only Naina can love him the way he is. He taunted her, humiliated her and slapped her but her love for him never reduced. Yes she was upset but only for sometime. Whenever someone explains her she immediately goes to sameer and says sorry. This time too chachiji explained her and she tried to make Sameer happy. This made me realize both of them needs elder's guidance. Naina got chachiji's guidance but there is no one who could help Sameer in understanding a marriage life & it's responsibility.

So true. No girl would accept that. Even I wouldn't.
But, if you look at it properly, it's not that Naina has much choice other than returning to the same house from where she was asked to leave, that too without Sameer actually properly apologising for his act. In fact Sameer knew this thing that's why he didn't dare to slap mama for the betrayal but slapped Naina.

As a girl, I feel that's the reason one must be financially independent so that a husband will think twice before insulting or misbehaving with her. And even if he does, the girl must be able to give back and not be forced to return saying sorry though it wasn't her who was at greater fault.

The slap in manhoos phase and Sameer exam absence phase as different. Not that it was right, but it didn't leave that bad a taste in the viewer's mind. Because the slap was given for the other. This slap was given due to own self which had no concern about the other.


And I wish no one glorifies and states that a girl is ideal wife despite tolerating slaps and insults. No girl should do that. Neither should any boy tolerate such behavior from a girl. Love is important bit throwing away self respect for it (not ego) I simply not done.

And once this slapping begins, it continues. It never has an end till the partner has been made to realise properly by his/her partner. Talking vof real life, if a girl returns and apologises despite facing what Naina faced, true trouble waits for her ahead in life.


For me, I have mentally decided that Sameer Jaiprakash Maheshwari is dead for me henceforth. Whoever is shown in the show is just a look alike with the name Sameer Kamlesh Maheshwari who has nothing to do with Nanu . I'll be at peace and I'll be able to adore forever Nanu , his teachings and his Sameer forever without any bitter memories

Thank you for this beautiful post, Ray! Loved your take. And I agree. No one can love Sameer more than Naina. Naina loves him the way he is. Only she can deal with his anger, kurkurapan, attitude, and what not. 😃

No one can love Naina like Sameer and no one can love Sameer like Naina. They know each other's faults and accept it. They will cause pain to each other but heal each other too. They are each other's support, no matter how much they fight, imagining a life without each other is not possible for them.
