He always tries to act like Ranveer- all fun loving and out there lol..but it comes across as fake. Always trying to dance and be "out there"...but it all looks unnatural... Varun also tries to "rap" which in my opinion is the verbal equivalent of Alia doing kathak.

Zafar is just another verison of Ranveer in SLB's films - trying to be a baddass when in reality its just a Bauua with contoured abs.

Varun just tries too hard and tries to come across as "chill"...but I can literally feel his insecure unsure of himself energy constantly hovering in undertones through his short body language and tapori like way of speaking. His performance in Sui Dhaga gave me feeling of pins and needles, just cuz you have fake moustache on that means you are good actor?

He is good in Coolie, Judwa type of roles, but lets leave ACTUAL acting to Ranveer and Ranbir please.

No, Ranveer is far off in his mind. He is Salman's wanna be. Despite being a better actor, he intentionally mimics Salman.

The reason Varun keeps doing brainless masala entertainers like Judwa, Main Tera Hero etc. is because he doesn't need to act in it lol 😆😆 He cannot act to save his life.

I literally cringed every time he did an emotional scene in Humpty and Badri. He was so awful, it's not even funny. It was like he was being himself in both the films with a bit of an accent in the latter 😆

actually it's ranveer who looks ott not varun

lots of celebs have asked ranveer to calm down and don't share the vibe with him as he tries to portray their relationship to be

eg anushka arjun ranbir etc

whereas all the celebs that work with varun have said again and again how respectful and fun he is to work with

also, people are saying he is insecure pls, again and again, he genuinely compliments his costars and brings up their achievement even his respect and acknowledgement of Madhuri was noteworthy

Ranveer has always been like that since day one, I remember seeing BBB launch and he was the same

Varun during SOTY was doign the whole chup chap seedha saadha thing, I am such a goody boy who eats lettuce for breakfast...then he saw that kuch ho nahi raha, suddenly his personality changed and he was loud type - then he did film Main Tera Hero in which he adopted the character in real life...you can tell with Ranveer that its real, even if its overboard thats how he is.

Varun being real is as true as Soni Razdan having Indian Passport.

He brings up others and compliments others to overcompensate for what he lacks. He keeps praising Aditya - oh girls love him and fall on his feet...he said Adi is tall too - he wants people to notice that he compliments things so that he can be a "nice guy" and everyone can fall in love with his pseudo personality.

Well guess what? Tomorrow i will contour and paint my abs too/ I will become a Instagram sensation. My torso is longer than Varun too so you can only imagine how much impact I can make? But still i will fail because Ranveer is harder. Bahaut hard hai bhai.

varun is a very limited actor..he can do a humpty badri..though emotional scenes still a weak point there with him

but beyond that he fails..

he has won some very harsh reviews for kalank..some said he sleep walked through out and lacked intensity

plus his dialogue delivery is so off putting and brings down the entire intensity and impact down several notches
