Well, she will not be upset, because he is in jail. There may be some misunderstanding due to which he has gone to jail, that might have happened because of Mini. Why would Mini be worried or upset that the father she has already disowned is in jail?

Im sure shes upset for some other reason, maybe because shes found out he pawned the jewelry that belonged to her mother for funding his business. That jewelry is Mini's inheritance that she was forced to return to that selfish Beeji on her mother's insistence.

She doesnt want to tell Babes abt Ashok's latest misdeed
