Andhudhun had a good hold on Monday with business if nearly $1.5 million. There is a drop from Friday but that was a national holiday but if we take Sunday the drop is hardly 55% which is better than normal. Andhadhun had done pretty well in India with very good business in Mumbai and Mysore but the business in China is already way ahead of India.


The film had a GROSS box office of 93.20 crore but China stands at 105 crore in just six days. the film is seventh on the all time list for Indian films in China after six days and will probably finish among the top five. The first week of Andhadhun in China should be around $19 million which is over 131 crore. The business of Andhadhun in China till date is as follows.


Wednesday - $1,320,000


Thursday - $1,760,000


Friday - $3,390,000


Saturday - $4,050,000


Sunday - $3,240,000


Monday - $1,450,000


TOTAL - $15,210,000

At this rate I think Indian filmmakers might start making movies more for Chinese audience rather than Indians 🤣

they don't make much money though.
I think only TOH, got a huge deal of 140 crores.
Other than that, I don't think these huge money earned in overseas benefits the producers that much.

Dangal made ~1300 crores more than double of what it grossed in India and registered 9 million more footfalls compared to India. Bajrangi Bhaijaan made ~310 crores in Chinese market.

If TOH was not a shit movie, it might have broken Dangal's record because Aamir is pretty popular in China.

abe, I didn't said these movies didn't made huge money in China, I meant these movies don't give much money to the makers, even if they cross everything in China.
Only TOH was lucky to get a 140 crores deal for theatrical rights.
