This is related to hugs that we have got to watch between Sameer and Naina. What I noticed is that most hugs that Naina gives Sameer starts with a closed fist one and then slowly it goes into open palm. I am not sure if that's way Ashi hugs or was it told to be done that way...Closed fist hugs are not very common and normally considered as the person is not comfortable doing the act..But I have seen some people doing that to even their own kids, so it can be a habit as well.

The hug in the music room we did see a closed fist , then again yesterday we saw just a glimpse of it then she straighten her palm..

Though Sameer has always had a very protective placing of palm on her back or shoulder with an open plam. I was just curious abt this body language.

What do you all think??

PS: This editing team needs a learning session. Yesterdays hug , when Sameer said abt the way she was holding him tight , he had actually placed the other hand too , on her back. But these ppl edited that scene and later when he was talking showed only one hand on her back. If they had shown both the hands on her back that would have looked very natural and might not have felt that he was holding back. Randeep had rightly emoted it but our editing team spoiled the act. 😡

Lovely post and completely agree with you.
Randeep really emoted well in that scene.
Even I thought the same but seriously editing team really needs to do their job properly.
Their poor job literally takes away the feel of emotions.

I always notice the way their hands move...in fact I think they both have such lovely fingers...I don't think any viewer can miss that ...and their fingers have their own chemistry on screen... 😳 especially their handholds.. are so captivating...
😳 😆

Oh yes !! he was on the spot when it came to portraying that seen on screen. Just that the editing team though it otherwise. 😡 I sometimes wonder why they do this...all the efforts put up by the actors are of no use . Someone needs to tell them this.

What an observation man..
But my take is when naina hugged sameer in music room and yesterday it was out of fear
But when naina back hugged or hugged sameer anytime out of love she had her open palms like on the breakfast surprise after their ashiqui photo shoot failed
Even I felt frustrated with editing when they dint show sameer hugging Naina properly 😡

Yes , if you notice carefully , I thought there was slight folding of the fist and then probably with prompting she did an open one...yesterday also that intial hug the way she places the palm on his back...watch it , there is a distance...normally that can be seen as hesitance , lack of comfort etc...but then later you see her in that tight hold , the dynamics is different. Very few people hug with closed palms else it is always as seen as one with lack of comfort.

So why I noticed is because the rest of the body language defies the one that is shown with the palm...and that's what confused me. Sometimes I feel its better not to know the psychology behind body language because we tend to analyse too much...probably its nothing ... 😆
