Kuhu is hella selfish, but putting that aside, even if you can forgive her for being jealous and selfish, being insensitive despite full knowledge of what happened to mishti by emotionally blackmailing her to leave the house and go back to her dad who wasn't a good father in the first place just makes kuhu an insufferable person. So proud of mishti telling her that its her house too and not just hers instead of acting like a bechari, crying, giving into what kuhu is saying without standing up for herself. Hope mishti stays like this.

I saw a clip of mishti & kuhu when they were kids & mishti being a child was being extremely mean to kuhu. So probably that's why kuhu is the way she is.
Just like mishti still longs for her dad though she has an extremely loving family.
The past has scarred both kids one abandoned by her parents (mishti) & the other illegitimate (kuhu) & they are reacting this way.
My 2 cents.

I had my apprehension that mishti will be docile n meek after watching 2 episodes...with what i saw today i like it 😊 ...giving back to bully...I don't know the back story of kuhu n mishti...but i think in today's age people reach common ground to co-exist...so i find kuhu over the top as character 😕

No, that's not it. The reason why kuhu is mean to mishti is jealousy because her family always pamper and love mishti due to her own family dumping her. Kuhu made this quite obvious at the end of yesterday's and beginning of today's episode. Mishti and kuhu are shown to be very different with others but also with one another in this spin-off compared to yeh rishta. Mishti was probs only mean to kuhu that one time you are mentioning, which I never saw, otherwise whenever I saw kuhu-mishti they were either nice to each other, cordial, or never shown together in one frame that much at all as they lived in their respective houses.

Agreed. I'm glad that Mishti has the ability to be confrontational and stand up for herself despite being so broken. Hoping to see more of her answering back to Kuhu in the future.

Ps- Mishti being mean to Kuhu once or even multiple times as a child doesn't justify Kuhu's behaviour towards Mishti now in my opinion... clearly Mishti doesn't put Kuhu down anymore.

I'm not justifying kuhus behavior but circumstances do shape a person. As for the clip I saw it on insta on the yrhpk site.
It's strange though despite their rivalry they always seem to be together. Saw them last week on the mother show& they helped bring back that couple together.
The good thing mishti doesn't let her bully her & that's where it's nice to see the female lead not being a bechaari!

I have really loved both the leads characterisation till now !
I loved how mishti wasn't a demure submissive little lamb and gives it back as good as she gets !
Kuhu , however , seems like a brat with daddy issues more than mishti to be frank !
She is so insecure and the way she is rubbing the fact that mishti isn't a part of her own family with subtle digs like "they took her in and what not is honestly uncalled for .
Having had said that , it's lretty realistic .
People are like this in real life , and its pretty interesting to see both of them evolve , one into a more relaxed person and the other to be more mature .

Hope the makers won't make Mishti a typical adarsh bahu who stays quite even after being insulted the millionth time.

Mishti being mean to Kuhu doesnt justify her behavior now , because they were children , Kuhu is being childish if she's still holding grudges for Mishti regarding that.. But we all know that's not the reason. She's just jealous that she has to share everything with Mishti.

And I don't think its realistic , they were children when her mom-dad left mishti with kuhu ,plus they've know each other even before that. They should have treated one another as sisters.

It takes a vile person to get jealous of someone you grew up with.
