Ever since Sameer and Naina have gotten married, not once have we seen them cherishing their togetherness after all the ups and downs they went through in 4 years. Waking up together, sleeping together, living in the same house, eating together...they are behaving as if all these moments were always forgone conclusion and they did not have to struggle at all to reach where they are today. They are going with the flow of being married, but they are not cherishing their moments.
For example, today, when Naina was waking up Sameer, they could have shown him waking up with a smile on his face cherishing the fact that he is getting to see her face first thing in the morning and share the same with her. He could have told her that he hates waking up early in the morning but the fact that he gets to see her face first thing, he actually looks forward to waking up early. Now that would be a sweet scene. Or when she brought him tea with that keychain set hanging from her waist, he could have shared that this was one of his dreams. Only difference is she was wearing saree in his dream. Naina could keep that in her memory bank and bring him tea wearing saree and keychain in the future.
In the precap, they are spending the evening in the yard. In one scene Naina is looking up at the sky. In this scene, I would love to see them reliving their time spent in Mt Abu. As that one night in Mt Abu was the only whole night they shared together before marriage. And that night too they talked about the sky and stars. Instead of showing crappy song sequence like they showed today, why cannot they show meaningful scenes like sharing past memories from their own perspective or cherishing their alone time and togetherness? I mean, we audience are forever ready to cherish the Mt Abu scenes, would'nt we love it if Sameer-Naina cherished them too. 😊
Just once I would like to see them remembering their journey, talking about it, and being grateful where they are today...together and happy with all the freedom in the world to do whatever they want.
