So i was re watching the old episodes yesterday.😊in the start i liked it how yudkbh represented the middle class families and emotions.Those deft details were on point.And among the sea of intricate layers the most stood out nuance for me was bela and taij's conversations.THose funny lines that bela says behind her back and her exaggerated praises of taiji among outsiders is what used to crack me up every time.😆I still remember the seventh episode and joota shop convo when bela deliberately makes taiji pay the bill. Their chemistry was bittersweet,full of sarcasm but not offensive.I loved this jethani-devrani bond.Ye aaj bhi families mein hota hai.Taiji then was not just a villain but also the comic element. So,is there anyone who misses those witty nok jhoks and comic banter between them and if any of you remembers such instances please share.

I am very happy that we are nearing 400 episodes🥳

True that! In recent, Tayji is pained as outright vamp and someone to hate. Earlier she wasn't hate-worthy. She was just a strict elder we still have in family (except for her taunts on Naina, she wasn't that bad).

I also miss their comic nok jhonks. When Phulla Bua came to Pooja Di's wedding I remember Tai ji was in trouble. And Bela Chachi also made full use of the situation and didn't leave a chance to tease Tai Ji. The whole track cracked me up as Tai Ji was only scared of Phulla Bua in the family and Phulla Bua was so witty in her comments. 😆

Exactly my thoughts.I always thought she turned bitter due to her late-pregnancy.But now she has lost it.She has stooped so low that she is not likable anymore.

Definately they used to have bittersweet nok jhok and I can't deny that I miss it...however I have always hated tayiji regarding her stance to naina specifically...taun her for being bin maa ki bachi...infact consider her as manhoos as her mother passed away the time of her birth...taunting about looks..tried getting married to a jerk twice...

But the situation they are showing is also very realistic...some instances in life changes your equation drastically...and also you as a person without you really realising it..
