My house..my rules

The scene between samaina on friday when everyone had gone was so much needed and of perfection..it was just like how sameer always manages to cheer naina up whenever she is about fall low...

The way he observed her dull face and knew how his wife must be thinking how she is not able to be a good home driver...

The way he first tried to make her understand that mami just speaks soo much...but naina agreed to what mami ji has to say...

What I especially liked was the way sameer started to make naina see the situation in a different way...exactly by asking if she enjoyed spending time with her friends...
Naina has been like a caged bird since her childhood...caged by expections to live upto..when she mer sameer..she became a free bird..now again she was ablut to cage herself in expectations from the world...but sameer will neither cage her nor will he ler her cage herself..

He very rightly said that this is their house...they can invite anyone whom they want to...if this is wrong then even them falling in love and gertting married is wrong...
The whole thought about the fact that just because you are doing something different doesn't mean you are wrong...
This is their house and they will decide what is right and wrong in this...it made me go back to the scene when mama told sameer that agar mere ghar me rehna hai toh mere hisaab se chalna padega...

Why should they stop their friends to come over...? Fine they might be wrong in not cleaning up but definately not wrong in inviting their friends...and I loved how he said ke hum apne doston ko bhulaen ge bhi aur safi bhi kar diya karenge...
Vaise mujhe ab tak yeh samajh nahi aya ke mami kiss haq se MunDit ko samaina ke ghar se nikal sakti hain...she has no right to do so..apne ghar toh rehne nahi deti paison vali gareeb aurat...

This was the much needed conversation between a husband and a wife..that together they will drive this by their wishes and their rules 😳

The conversation was superb..no doubt

I think now that Sameer and Naina live in their house, Mami stands no right to tell them what they are to do and what not. They can very well go and dubao all the money and dirty their house. Usse kisika ka vaasta nahi hona chahiye. I'm glad Sameer said this.

I wanted sameer to tell mami this is my house and you don't have to tell my wife and my friends what they should do or not.

Just loved loved loved the convo...so sweetly Sameer cheers up his Naina and immediately saves the situation for her...how lucky..how sweetly he says that this is our Home aur hum jiss tarah chahe jee sakte hain...as the voice over of Naina so aptly said Ladkiyon ki asli azaadi Shaadi ke baad hoti hain..not that before Shaadi there is no azaadi and that is the best phase of their life but when they are later on their own without anyone staying with them they tend to just feel like they can do whatever they want.

Thank you for making this post. Beautiful analysis. I loved the conversation between Sameer n Naina. It was beautiful and so apt. Sameer showed Naina a different angle on that situation. And he was right. It's their house unke sapno ka ghar. They should live there as they like not according to the society or relatives.
