Kesari has held well on its second Friday as collections will cross 4 crore nett and may even 4.25 crore nett. This will take the film to 110 crore nett apprx and the hold on Friday ensures a good run for the next few weeks, The film has held in most places with North having the stronger business.
The film just has to now consolidate this hold by getting good growth on the second Saturday. The film is very similar to Total Dhamaal the only difference being that film found more appreciation in Mumbai and Gujarat while Kesasri will be North India.
Both films Kesari and Total Dhamaal are looking at around 95 crore nett from the biggest contributors North and Mumbai. Total Dhamaal has done 55 crore nett in Mumbai and 40 crore in North and Kesari will likely end up with 35 crore nett in Mumbai and 60 crore nett in North.
The two new releases could not make much of a mark with Junglee looking to be around 2.50 crore nett and Notebook not even getting to 75 lakhs nett as per early estimates.
