Does the past define ones future? Is a person's character influenced by who the parents are? Once a bad person but now a changed man, should he still be called an bad person?
Just few weeks ago we all went on and own how Rocky is such a criminal, Ghatiya insaan. Truly he was a bad person going on doing bad things. In the start of the show Rocky was a badass. Taking panga with happy and planning and plotting against her. But he was just a puppet in Bhatiyas hands he influenced him to get Rocky to do his bidding. Rocky's all actions were aimed for well being of his family and Happy was portrayed to be his jaanidhusman. And in his point of view he was right. Thanks to his maa, beeji, friends who are always on is side, bhatiya uncle. What ever he did he did it in open, if he did something he was man enough to admit it.But keeping all this aside he had a good heart for his family, friends and other near and dear ones. But chintu bhaiyas death sort of opened his eyes. He was Rockys anchor and with him gone he got a reality check. And after with time he came to know how Happy is innocent and is not a materialistic person. And the on he stood by her side. His caring action to drop her off at night, accepting his mistake of kidnapping her. Also from today's episode we came to know the story behind his birth. And it's evident that Kulvanth may have never loved him and always cursed his existence. This Rocky had a tough time at home. And left him emotionally scared. This his violent nature. At present he is a changed man. Taking up his responsibility. But he trusts almost everyone (Sanya after all she did he trusted her and in the end she back stabbed him)Now if we look at Ravir, he is a typical aSpoiled brat. He clearly knows what he is doing is wrong but still he goes to do that. (Lies time and again to his family, Tries to misbehave with Smiley, stalks her, kidnaps her, plants evidences to point at another innocent person) Being from such a great back ground (Rich family/ lawyer brother and bhabhi/Frirnds who keep saying how wrong he is) he does not listen. It coz he thinks it's right. No it's because he knows people have his back. And he knows how to manipulate people. When RV got to know Ranvir is t he culprit of Smileys, he stated pleading "Please forgive me"Now like RV said Criminals exist Coz the society does not punish them and they continue to go around doing bad stuff. So in this case Ravir is a criminal who was well aware of what he was doing. If he goes Scot free with Rocky going to jail, RV too is not innocent either he is equally responsible.

A very well made and apt post. Who is really a criminal? A person who does a crime and doesn't realise it or a person who makes an effort for the path of redemption.

I don't think they can show RV saving his guilty brother just because of the promise he gave their mother. That would completely negate all that he has been saying about his unflinching commitment to justice, something that he reiterated to Happy, adding that even if one of his own were guilty, he would not spare him. That would not be a shade of grey, it would be black. For he would not just be saving his guilty brother, but letting an innocent suffer the punishment for his brother's crime. The CVs will not damage.his character so.drastically.right at the outset.. I think he will expose his brother.Seeing that I came to this show.only.for Rohit Purohit, I devoutly hope that I.am right! This apart, the level of scripting is pathetic. RV has to.be THE top lawyer in India, just like the heroes in the old Hindi films who.were always "first class first"!I was then appalled to see him actually asserting that in this case, it would be for the accused, Rocky, to prove.his innocence, not for the prosecution to prove him guilty! He thus stood the basic principle of all.jurisprudence, that the defendant is presumed innocent until.proved guilty, on its head.😲And the judge said nothing!!! Unbelievable!Shyamala Cowsik

Hi Shayamala Aunty,
Here we meet again after ages post Jodha Akbar Forum. I can understand your affection for RV, he is a good actor. I agree that the scripting is pathetic and choppy. Despite having a great story and characters, the screenplay looks like Nautanki. Even RV who is the better actor amongst the cast, that crying scene was so meh!!
Even the father son conversation was Duh!
