Okay! So far I have liked whatever we've seen of Kalank. (Trailers, Songs, Promos)😃

To be honest, I am quite surprised because I wasn't expecting to be impressed by the film.

I know many people have predicted its story but here goes my theory.

-- Sanjay Dutt is some royal king. 😎

-- He has a son (ARK's character) from his first wife who died tragically a some years ago.

-- He later married a young girl (Sonakshi's character)😆, who was in love with ARK.

-- He also had an affair with Madhuri, & the pair had a son (Varun's character) i.e, KALANK.

-- Varun falls in love with a sweet girl Alia.

-- Alia's family owe some kind of debt to the king, so they fix her marriage with ARK .

-- Madhuri wants his son to be heir to the king.😃

-- Varun doesn't know that ARK is his brother, until the second-half.

-- Dutt either dies or accepts Varun as his son.😆

-- Eventually, Varun marries Alia & ARK marries Sona or something like that 😆

Varun is the illegimate son of Sanjay and Madhuri . ARK is his stepbro who has to marry Alia for some reason and they clash among high communal tensions

Lol. If Sona can play heroine to Ajay, Akshay, Salman etc, then I am sure she can play a girl who is supposed to be way younger than her husband (Sanjay Dutt).😆

And it's just a theory anyways.😆😆

Then how come ARK is marrying Alia in one of the scenes😆, while Sona is standing nearby.

Everything else is bat-able except for Sona and Sanjay angle! .. 😆 ... That's a bit too much even for a KJo show .. 😆

Madhuri, who replaced Sridevi, will play the role of a courtesan(prostitute) and teach Kathak'to other girls. Varun Dhawan will portray a Muslim blacksmith at the famous Heera Mandi' market of Lahore which was later converted into a red-light area by the British.

Sanjay Dutt will reportedly be seen as a king in the film, while Sonakshi Sinha will portray the free spirited Banjaran(gypsy-woman). Aditya Roy Kapur will play the role of an artisan who'll rebel against the British government along with Varun Dhawan.

Alia Bhatt will be seen as one of the girls(dancers) under Madhuri's character while Kunal Khemu's role in the film is still unknown.

Kalank actually tells a story of a time when prostitutes and blacksmiths stood together to defeat the British government.

Yes. But is too much than Alia playing a 'heroine' to Salman Khan in the upcoming SLB film?😆
