Deepika Padukone :Magical! We completed 4 months It's the most beautiful feeling sharing ur life w this amazing person. After spending so much time together, this is the 1st time since the wedding that I will be going away for so long.
Deepika Padukone: We will be filming Chhapaak for a month and when I return, Ranveer will be leaving for his film, '83. But we are committed to being with each other as often as possible. Even when we were dating, we dealt with this challenge successfully ( via : Mumbai Mirror)
Did Ranveer surprise you with his GullyBoy act ?
Deepika Padukone : No, he was such a natural fit that if for any reason Ranveer had decided not to do the film, I can't think of any other mainstream actor who could have pulled this off.
Deepika Padukone : The fact that Zoya thought of him for the role did not surprise me at all because he is hugely influenced by rap music and the hip-hop culture. It's a part of him and now the world knows it too. #Gullyboy
Deepika Padukone : He introduced us to a new world, bringing to the fore the lives of people we didn't know about, the hardships they face on a daily basis and how music helps. He's put these singers on the world map, given the underground music movement legs and visibility.
