It's been a short stint for Vicky Kaushal so far, but he is already regarded as one of the most promising talents in Bollywood circles, today. Films like 'Sanju', 'Raazi' and especially 'URI: The Surgical Strike' have not only enhanced his reputation as a power-packed performer but also established him as a bankable star.
In the last three years, Vicky has become a top-notch player and although he deserves every bit of his success, if a latest report in Deccan Chronicle is to believed then he has perhaps become too big for his shoes, too soon.
A director who has worked with Kaushal in the past told Deccan Chronicle that he wants to cast him again in one of his upcoming projects but he doesn't think he can 'afford' him any longer.
"I don't think I can get the same actor for the same price. His market has changed. I don't know whether he has changed. But he now hangs around with Karan Johar and his ilk. So I guess they advise him on how to move forward in life, And that's a good thing," the director told the daily on condition of anonymity.
So, has success actually gone to Vicky's head? One hears he has even broken up with his girlfriend Harleen Sethi. Some sources claim that Vicky's growing fondness for Bhumi Pednekar caused the dent in his relationship with Harleen, while others are speculating about his alleged closeness to Katrina Kaif.
According to a top-notch director, Vicky's newly-found stardom had a huge role to play behind their split. "Vicky now thinks he should be dating Katrina Kaif or Alia Bhatt. He is climbing up that ladder so fast he can't see the ground below him, the director told DC.
Well, if the reports are true, Vicky must watch his steps before it is too late because, there have been many in the industry who started off with a bang but vanished from the screen in no time.
