She looks refreshingly good and younger here without the hideously OTT sarees, jewellery, makeup and bindis that she wore in saath nibhana saathiya. This is the first time I've seen her with her hair out and minimal makeup, which is probably why she looks far younger to me here.

You read my mind. She looked so much better than how I remembered her. Her character however is woven along the same lines as her previous show, I think. At least that's what I felt after watching the episode

Yeah she looks much better in her toned down avatar.

I have not watched any of her previous shows. But are you guys saying this is her toned down look?

This itself is too much for me, particularly the Kajal.

No offense to the actor but I really wish they avoid close up scenes of her.
