Before the leap, a major mishap occurs in which Abhi and Praghya's daughter Kiara loses her life. Abhi and King try their level best to save Kiara but in vain. A devastated Praghya holds Abhi responsible for Kiara's death and breaks all ties with him.

The show sees a major turn from here on, as Praghya and Abhi separate.

I read Kiara dies and Abhi and Pragya separate:(! Why kill that little girl just for a leap? They killed dadi for the 7-year leap. So instead of starting a new show they're just cashing in on kkb's popularity and dragging. So stupid

You have seen enough of this show and other Ekta show to know, if there is no body, they can come back. I am pretty sure Kaira is alive. Most likely, she gets taken in by someone, maybe an enemy of Abhi. Maybe Kaira thinks she was abandoned and hates her parents. Just like Ruhi storyline of YHM.
