Having completely opposite characters does not make any difference when you are comparing the sensitivity with which the actors have done their emotional scenes. Her emotional acting was lacking in that breakdown scene. And thereby, her Gully boy performance did not fully hit the chord with me. She did not make me fully forgot that it is not alia I'm seeing on the screen. When your acting is to that level, where you are fully a character and no trace of the actor's previous personas remains, only then can you be called even one of the greatest contemporary actors of all time. Till then, it is an empty praise.

Aren't we all just sharing our personal opinions here? 😆 Most of us have brains that we use here, we can see what is at times obvious to the eye. And I don't need a "critic" who is just as human as me to tell me anything about an actor's capability when I can see and judge for myself. But each to their own I guess!
