Disappointing male centric movies

I read a similar thread here just now and though in the interest of equality, there should be one for men too. So, let's see which movies would fall under this category? ... All? Right. Or could we just include those with a male lead and no prominent female leads? That would be the masala movies then? And still large chunk of BW. Anyway, so how many of BW masala movies then did you find disappointing? Please leave a comment.

Before you say all, let's not be so harsh, let's think about how entertaining they are, even if problematic in a lot of ways, but at least do they make you laugh? If yes, then please don't name it. Can you stay awake while you watch them? Then please don't name them. And do you find the songs catchy? Then also don't name them. Thanks. 😊

Disappointing Ones

1. All Sallu films

2. Most Akki films

3. 80% of Bollywood films are male centric with women having flowerpot roles.

But there are some that are really good and having a heroine in the film (for the heck of it) would've ruined the plot maybe.

The Really Good Ones

1. A Wednesday (starring Naseeruddin Shah)

What a fab film and what fab performances. I don't think there was an important female character in the film.

2. Aamir (starring Rajeev Khandelwal)

That film was really good and Rajeev did such a fab job in it. There is no female lead in the film, no songs either.

3. 3 Idiots

This was a fun film. Kareena hardly had a role in it.

4. OMG- Oh My God

I really liked this Akki--Paresh starrer. Very funny.

6. Golmaal - 1 (By Rohit Shetty)

Only the first one was good, rest were 🤢

I didn't quite get what you are asking. Are you asking for good male centric films or bad? Since you said name disappointing ones. But same time, not have anything you found entertaining, anything problematic, with catchy tunes. I am very much confused

It's a sarcastic post. Someone made a post with "Disappointing women centric movies" as the title. So, I just got offended ki ek toh waise hi gin chunke movies banti hain, usme ye category banake disappoint aur ho gaye.
