Is his Sanju's son in the movie? Looks like poster has some fires burning in the background, probably Partition era violence or maybe Freedom struggle

I think the riots...

All four of my grandparents migrated from India during partition...
Have heard accounts of bloodshed and violence 😭 and near the end of their lives they missed and talked about their childhood homes in Indian Punjab so much...

Movie won't be releasing where I live but looking forward to watching it when it comes on prime or Netflix.

ARK looks as handsome as ever... he has looks, acting chops and a decent dancer... I wish he was more driven about his career... i'd rather see the likes of him do more movies and succeed rather than the clown brigade we have now...

i really hope that KJO is not in his usual biased self and gives equal prominence to ARK and Sona instead of giving all the footage to Varun and Alia ... The posters look good and I am so excited to see ARK and Sona together.

Of course Punjab and Bengal were the most traumatized by the Riots and Partition, the painful memories and nostalgia remained till that generation's deaths.

Both my grandfathers migrated from East Bengal to Kolkata before the partition but my Nanaji's all 4 sisters + their kids and my MIL's parents had to escape from East Bengal without any possessions, literally with just the clothes on their backs.
