There is a line between their relationship and friendship which shifts according to their needs and moods
Let's say they share a passionate friendship...Or atleast we hope so 😉
Marriage is friendship, marriage is companionship. During dating the couples usually go out of the way to please each other and sometimes portray an unreal image of oneself in the process. Sometimes they lie and hide things each other just to please the other one. As romantic love evolves into marriage, it gradually settles down into more mature and realistic partnership where the couple learns to be comfortable with each other, respect each other's individualism, be truthful and become each other's strength.
While dating one partner may go out of the way to fulfill each other's dreams. In our case Sameer is the one who will do everything and anything for his girl. However, when the couples settle in, they finally realize that each of them are individuals and will have separate expectations and dreams in life. It is not one sided effort that makes the relationship work but both sides should be putting in the same amount of effort into it. Also one starts realizing that giving into every dream of your partners is not the fundament of a real relationship but learning to find that certain dream that works for both of you is.
The difference between boyfriend/girlfriend/newlyweds versus maturing love is that in mature love choices are driven by discipline and attention to the health of the relationship, not just mere feelings of trying to please each other.
Sameer & Naina started as classmate and then they became boyfriend/girlfriend. Now with marriage and living together, they may become friends once they to understand each other more, learn to be more transparent with each other and respect each other as individuals.
