Karan's dad tells Cahndu that he has employed him in "Mehra and Sons". Karan's mom tells him that Rekha is very sick. Mehek is pissed that she is being ignored for Rekha. Mehek reaches the hospital and sees Karan and Rekha together
-Hospital-
Karan is holding Rekha, when he looks up and sees Mehek. He sits Rekha down and then goes to Mehek, who is heading towards Rekha and pulls her around the corner. Mehek tells him that because of Rekha, they haven't met for such a long time. Karan tells her to stop feeling jealous because he loves only her (Mehek), and Mehek says that she hates Rekha from the bottom of her heart.
Karan tries to explain that Rekha is very weak right now, but Mehek says that she now feels like the second woman. Karan, to prove to Mehek that he loves her, tells Rekha that he has to leave, and then leaves with Mehek. Rekha is thoughtful.
-Patil House-
Kaku and Neetu are sitting in the yard and Kaku says another metaphor about people and a purpose. Kaku points out that they are all looking at their own happiness, and not Neetu's sadness. Neetu says that no one cares about her poisons her more against the family. She tells her to take over the house and show them that she's in charge. Kaku suggests to tell Chandu to get Prakash's death certificate.
Maju comes outside to hang clothes and Neetu tells Manju to tell chandu to go to Prakah's office, but Manju tells them that he's gone to the Kul House. Kaku makes more comments about a changing household, and Neetu says that she won't let this house change.
-Kul House-
K-Aai, our dear KK, and Chandu are sitting and drinking tea. Before Cahndu can speak about setting the wedding date back, K-Aai (instigated by KK) says that they should hurry up with the weddings. Vikram assures him that not a cent will be spent on the weddings. It would just be gharwale. Vikram says that the date has been set aster Prakash's terevi (13th day after death), and he suggests that Sanju and Rachna should continue coming to Kul House till the wedding. Chandu is really shocked.
-Patil House-
Everyone is sitting and discussing the offer. Sanju says that it's not possible, and Manju agrees. Aai says that the house just lost a son; they can't all suddenly lose 2 daughters. Chandu says that he didn't give them a reply yet, and Aai adds that the Kulkarni's are not like the Mehera's, so they don;t know what to do.
Sanju tells Aai to call them and refuse. Sanju asks Rachna and Rachna tells her that if she says yes, she knows that Sanju will say yes too, but she (Rachna) is just not ready for marriage yet. Kaku tries to convince Rachna with the good points (no expences, no clothes/jewellery),but Sanju tells Kaku that no one is ready for a marriage in the house.
Aai asks Neetu is its okay, and Kaku adds in that no one has let Neetu get a word in. Rachna asks Neetu is she's ready to lose her too, and Neetu replies that Kaku is right. To everyone's surprise.
-Mehra House-
Rekha is lying on the bed looking very sad and upset. Karan walks in. Rekha is surprised that he came home so early. She offers to bring him tea, but Karan says that he needs to talk to her. Karan wonders how to tell her that he is tense because of her dad. Rekha assures Karan that a woman can do anything for her husband. Karan tells Rekha to tell Chandu to quit this job.
-Patil House-
Rachna is on the veranda thinking about if it would be right to go to Kul House every day. She thinks that at least she has Vivek'slove, but Sanju has nothing. Because of her Sanju is marrying Vikram, or else Sanju would never marry a guy like Vikram.
Sanju comes there and reassures Rachna that everything will be okay. Her and Rachna head inside, ehrn Sanju sees 2 men in black suits looking at the house from the fence.
The 2 guys go to a big white van, and tell some guy that this is Patil house. The guy rolls down the window, and gleefully looks at the house, with evil music playing in the background.
