Why was Mahir kept alive? Ever since the episode where Sumitra supposedly kills Bella I have been wondering this.

I missed a few episodes so I don't know if they have said anything about Andy being Man it's real father but I know Sumitra is not his mother. After Bella's supposed death Andy knew Sumitra was evil. Sumitra thought Bella was dead. Then why did she keep Mahir alive?

Cause assuming that Mahir is Andy's son, she didn't have to pretend to be good and caring infront of Andy as he now knew her true colors. She wasn't planning to blackmail Bella cause according to her she was dead. She made that clear at the mandap saying I had killed you all to Bella Vish and Vik.

What was Sumitra achieving from keeping Mahir alive in that child like state, keeping him scared and fearful. Did Mahir's pain give her a sadistic pleasure or was he a punching bag for her and his gang to take out their frustrations on. Or did she simply keep him alive because the CVs couldn't kill Mahir as we fans would kill cvs for killing Mahir.

Wasn't it because of something about Sumitra acquiring the property? Killing Mahir off would have made her ineligible to it or something? I can't quite remember but it certainly had something to do with Mahir being the owner of all the property and Sumitra wanting to have it.

Although it doesn't matter since the story has gone bonkers.

Sumitra kept Mahir alive or their property would be used for charity.In the new year episode,It is shown...Sumitra telling Bela about it...All their property was in Mahir's name,If Mahir dies,the property would go for Sehgal charity foundation(something like that),but if Mahir is mentally unstable and not in a situation where he can manage the business,the property goes Sumitra Sehgal...And for that,our Sumitra did'nt kill Mahir and got the property in her hands.

they showed it's because of property...but the real reason is probably the last one u said...😆We would kill them if they killed Mahir...

I am confused now why was the property only in Mahir's name. I remember in the beginning episodes Andy had said something about his property going to his legal (Sumitras) children. So wouldn't Mahir, Kuhu, Yuvi all have equal share in the property. Or did Andy change his will after seeing Sumitras real colors.

Anyways thanks for informing me about they property thing I hsd no idea

Can I ask another doubt???Sumithra had told Bela that she made Mahir loss his memory because he learnt Sumithra's biggest secret...Did she mention what is that secret anywhere???

Yeah they didn't bring it up after he's back. They forgot abt it. They had to show flashback where he discovered something abt Sumi. May be tht she is not her real mom but a dopple ganger. Something is missing.
