asha rao You are so correct and I though I was the only
one thinking in that terms. I mean I know it is a soap opera but why do they get the people to pray before they end up dying anyways...........just take the prayer out. I used to first think "oh they are praying and it will end up okay" but now it does not mean thing. This religion thing is good to discuss because we did not ask for it by they make it big part of the soaps why can other things be discussed and nobody says "oh it just a drama". You guys are not respecting asha rao take on this.

asha rao you are so right. Why bring religion in serials when they are showing evil person always win and person with pure heart and willing to help always looses or die.

But is this not true in real world as well. Ppl who are weak and cry and try not to talk back in their own defence are called nice but are they no the one who always suffers.
On the other hand ppl who lie cheat back stab come out ahead because they know how to manipulate truth and twist it such a way to make it a lie and their lies a truth.

I am also sure that people who watch serial know that situations are created and made up. As the situations occuring this bad is rear in real life and ppl going back to the extent of killing own brothers or sisters for money are rear.

But I still agree with the point that religion should be shown as giving person strength. Not that the very religious ppl can be weak and can be hurt by any one and are always made to cry.

I am only going to comment on SP. I believe the creators attempt to show God's action at work. However you must bear in mind other actions are at work.

I believe good should triumpt over evil. And funnily enough they show you alot of God's work in action.

Saloni by her action towards Nahar and his family was punished. And yes maybe she deserved to be as you said she hid everything from her husband. When she and Nahar had a reunion in the hosiptal she told him by getting him back reemphasize her faith in God.

That's God action for Nahar - Nahar wants his wife and child. And Nahar for all he went through deserve his happiness - it's a miracle his aborted child is alive.

2. Nahar saving Saloni from being raped
3. Nahar saving the child crossing the road while his child is about to be aborted in the hospital- thereby his own action save his own child
4. Nahar meeting neel
5. Brijesh finding Nikita in the orphanage

Tara can't have children, what did she do she brought Jiji into the family. Tara by her own action brought evil upon that family. Okay you can't have children -do you go and get your jealous sister who wants your husband to be the surrogate mother. Even Tara can't be that naive.

When Samar found out about kaveri lying about nikita he kicked her out. Did she suffer? Or no Saloni brought her back. Who is letting Kaveri do what she want - Samar. And by the way he deserves it.

All anybody have to do is put Kaveri in her place. When she opened her mouth about Saloni at the party did Samar say anything to her oh no. Seriously if that not what he deserves. Saloni parents - Again right now they Kicked out Saloni in the rain and went to comfort Nahar. Where was the caring?

I think evil people don't care about anything so nothing can't touch them e.g. Kaverin is so self-centered she never sees she is the cause of her problem and will cause her own destruction. For example when Saloni comes back what is going to happen to her. She had the opportunity to be the perfect Bahu. Ofcourse she will typically blame Saloni for her own actions.

The Singh family by their inaction/action has placed Jiji in the position she is in.

So, at this time I know Jiji is going to get what she deserve. Nahar will appreciate Saloni more than ever. Hopeful Saloni would have learnt to talk to her husband.

Right now Kakisa is in a hospital thinking about her action - She should have told Tara where the baby was.

Well, this is the same as showing all Muslims are terrorists. I definitely agree that at some level, what is shown on television is taken at face value, and can affect the viewer's psyche. They shouldn't reference religion in a negative manner.

i somewat agree to what asha rao said! but , we cannot give importance to GOD or religion here.... In reality this world is full of CRIME N MISERY...!

Lets look at this way!

Yes, i agree...that all these soaps glorify EVIL so much! they make mockery of judicial system n police department. the so called negative characters never get caught by either police or get punished by judiciary system. And the crimes they commit are not small... they include, planning murders, kidnapping, black-mailing, etc etc... these are all no1. in crime list. Yet, police always fail to catch the culprit.
The culprit jusy gets away with anything n everything. Instead of getting punished these evil persons in these soaps become richer, more successful..etc etc...

Thats what i literally hate about thse soaps...they are are propagating so much negativity in to the society...i feel...this will somewat definitely effect the society n its thinking. it will surely leave an impact!

I feel that these TV channels are only bothered about their TRPs...but they are very very irresponsible towards the SOCIETY!

Judyp, your reference of Instances of god's action . ,all these incident happened in a normal serial, but for any problem running to temple or puja room and praying for help will not serve the purpose.one has to apply their mind to find the proper solution in consultation with family members and then pray the god for success in their effort . [when a person goes to exam hall shd go well prepared and his prayer to god for success will give fruit and one cannot simply run after god or temple without preparing for exam will only suffer. Mere kahne ka matlab yeh hai ki baath baath ki liye matarani ka naam lena zarrori hogaya aur phir bhi musibath me rehna yeh mata rani ki mazaak ban jata hai.

Jab nikita orphanage mei mili matarani shd have exposed the real culprit and vindicate narpat but such thing has not happened instead matarani protected the evil person kaveri and added more happiness to her with samar. The producer shd not involve the name of mata rani 's name for every scene otherwise they shd show matarani maharaj will punish those people who create problem for her devotee.

sweetgal92, Of course I know this is drama and we shd not go religious. Let me tell you the purpose of my writing this message in this forum , my bahu and my self watch this serial sometime we discuss about this show, One day I casually asked my grandson did u pray to god today, he said no and I asked him why,and the reply he gave me was shocking. 'If u pray god he will give you more trouble so I will not.' Then I convinced him it is not true and I change the channel whenever he comes to me while watching my serials. It is not only in SP but other serials are also showing the god in poor light like kalima in KZK thakur in KSBKBT and shambhunathnath BMTD. This made me to write this message in this forum. The producer shd either go forward to show about god that he helps the people who ever pray him otherwise he shd stop but they are showing very occured about our god that they cannot help any devotee when they are in trouble. See the example of BMTD'S Vidya and sagar whom shambhunath could not protect them and allowed them to die but the same shambunath is going to punish sindoora after 21 years and has to wait for precious 21 years for sagar and vidya to unite. If the story goes in normal manner there is no problem but taking the name of shambhunath and allow them to suffer is something where the youngsters will loose faith in god. that is what I am trying to say.
