You're right, this is just like Imli's reasoning, no wonder makers used to expect sympathy for Imli, pity they haven't learnt from their mistake.
Anjor has been blessed with many loving people, the only people who hated her were Sukor's enemies. Sukor and Raghav suffered far more because of her than she ever did.
I disagree that she loved Raghav, she only loved him when she thought he's Suraj, she hated the moment she found the truth. About Chakor, the only clashing point was during Vikram track and Anjor realized Chakor was right, so I don't know why she thinks Chakor neglected her.
Anjor is coming across as selfish and self entitled and the drinking won't endear her to viewers. (even this is similar to Imli's reaction when she had to give up Raghav).
The most glaring flaw in makers' logic is that Anjor has lived with Sukor for less than one year, not enough time to get attached to them. The loss of her first foster mother should have a bigger impact on her than Chakor's imaginary betrayal, and the love of her second foster family should've made her forget Chakor.
Practically, Anjor isn't Sukor's child, she didn't have time to form deep bonds with them and they didn't have enough time to shape her characters, genes alone aren't enough.
These reasons are justifications for the forced MU. It's better if they showed Chakor dying and Anjor turning selfish because doing good destroyed her family and show the ML slowly changing her, but makers went for the mother-daughter MU.
