SAMPADA had never thought she would stoop to a level so low. But she had to do this. She is doing this, because Moksh was hers, he belonged to her and Kalyani was no one for Moksh, just a regular Aayabaai to take care of Moksh, who had been promoted to a false status of his Aai, only because she had married his father, after his real Aai had ran away with her lover. She was just correcting a mistake; she had wanted Moksh the whole time, and could not take him away because of circumstances. Even though now also her circumstances weren't much better. That is the primary reason for her to take Moksh away. Because if she didn't do something, then no would help her, because Atharva would not help her.  

Atharva, the guy she believed herself to be in love with, the guy who she believed loved her had just thrown her out of the house. Because, his wife, his legally wedded wife, has come back and was making them suffer for proving her insane. The first thing his wife had done was got his Mistress out of their house. And when she had looked to Atharva to support her he had just stood there, staying mum. That had been the trigger, which had led her to the decision to kidnap Moksh from Ahilya Niwas. It had been very easy, with Kalyani and Maai gone to college, Malhar gone to work, the only person to get through was her own Aai, and her Aai will always trust her. Will always believe it if she said she is coming back to Malhar and Moksh. She roped her Aai in a web of lies, and kidnapped Moksh from Ahilya Niwas. She would always have Moksh, even if she didn't have Atharva.

A few hours later...

MALHAR had decided to come home early today, because of uneasiness; he felt uneasy while at the station today. He had reached his home, to make sure everything was fine, but as always, when Kalyani wasn't at home, Aai was busy watching TV and not Moksh. He shook his head and moved towards the bedroom to get Moksh. But when he entered the bedroom Moksh was nowhere to be seen. Thinking Aai had him as Kalyani has not yet come back from college, he moved towards the TV Room to see Aai asleep there. With no signs of Moksh. He then proceeded to look all over the house. He could not find him. He panicked immediately. Where was Moksh? 

He heard Maai and Kalyani in the courtyard and woke Aai up. She looked at him and was very happy to see him. She too heard Kalyani and Maai in the courtyard and smirked. That smirk worried Malhar more than ever. Because whenever that smirk was on Aai's face, it meant something demeaning and insulting was about to happen to Kalyani. She looked at Malhar and moved out to the courtyard, before he could even ask about Moksh. Malhar followed Aai to the courtyard, and came to know about Aai throwing Kalyani out of the house.  

KALYANI had been particularly happy while coming home. Her Aai had scored the most marks in a test. A surprise test. It never failed to amaze her how her Aai managed all these things, she was busy praising her Aai when she saw Aatya come out from inside the house, she then proceeded to grab her by the elbow and pulling her towards the exit of the house. She turned back and saw Malharji coming to the courtyard, he too looked confused, as though he had no idea what Aatya was doing. Maybe he didn't. Because just as they reached outside the house, Malharji reached her and grabbed her by her other arm. But Aatya had not noticed that she was being stopped by Malharji. She was currently in a tug of war between Aatya and Malharji. 

Infuriated, Aatya turned around and said, "Ab iss ghar mein tumhari koi zarurat nahi hai Kalyani, ab meri beti, yaani ki Malhar ki biwi aur Moksh ki asli Aai waapas aa gayi hai. This shocked Kalyani to no ends, Sampada had come back? She looked at Malharji questioningly, but Malharji also seemed confused by this. Like he has no idea that Sampada has come back. He let go of Kalyani's hand and moved in front of her, as if shielding her. He stood in front of her and made Aatya free Kalyani's hand. He then, in his interrogating tone asked, "Kehna kya chahti hai aap Aai, saaf saaf kahiye? 

This actually made Aatya glad, like she was not only answering a question of Malharji, but hundreds of prayers of Malharji. She moved forward and said, "Malhar, Sampada, meri bachi waapas aa gayi hai, aaj se woh tumhari biwi aur Moksh ki Aai banke rahegi. Uska dimaag thikane aa gaya hai, Malhar, Sampada waapas aa gayi hai. This was like a shock to Kalyani. She looked up to Malharji to see him maintaining his stoic face, but she was breaking from inside, she moved to take a step forward, but stumbled, and Malharji caught her. He grabbed her shoulders and stood by her and helped her, not letting her fall. 

MALHAR didn't believe a word of what Aai was saying, Sampada could not simply come back because she wanted to, and if she has come back, then where was she? But before he could ask these questions from Aai he noticed Kalyani stumble. He grabbed her, preventing her fall. He looked in her eyes to see pure fear. Like she was scared of what was going to happen now. She mumbled one word, Pillu, and he could see she was heartbroken from being taken away from Moksh. So for her, for Kalyani's sake, and his son's, he turned and questioned Aai, "Agar aisa hai toh kaha hai Sampada, kyunki ghar mein naahi Sampada hai aur naahi Moksh." 

APARNA was confused; she remembered clearly, she had left Sampada in Malhar's bedroom. After hearing Malhar's question she moved back to the house, to look for her. She looked in his room and the kitchen, and the whole house, Sampada was nowhere to be found. However, when she was moving back towards the courtyard, she noticed something in Moksh's carry-on cradle. She looked at it and it was letter. She opened the letter and when she read the contents of the letter, she was shattered. Sampada had kidnapped Moksh. Sampada had kidnapped her own son. The ground beneath her shifted. This was not supposed to happen. Malhar, Sampada and Moksh were to be a family. What has this stupid girl done again? She immediately moved to the courtyard and slowly proceeded to Malhar. Scared of his anger, she handed him the letter. She saw him scan the contents of the letter. She saw his stoic mask break. She saw when he realized what Sampada had done. She saw how he broke when he came to know Sampada had kidnapped their child. 

KALYANI had no idea about what was in that letter. She saw Malharji's face when she read that letter. It was the same one he had when he had read the letter left by Sampada, the one she had left before she ran away. She saw him breaking down. She was unaware of what was in the letter, but one thing that was sure was, it was not any good. But before she could demand what was in the letter, she saw his face again. She saw him transfer from the sweet Malharji, to tough ACP Malhar Rane. She saw all the hatred he had on his face again. She saw him change again. She saw as she lost him again. 

Malharji handed her the letter and asked her to read it aloud, she opened it up again and read it aloud, hoping for the worst, "Malhar, mein apne Moksh ko tumse dur le jaa rahi hun. Moksh mera bacha hai, mein uski Aai hun, mujhe uss par pura haq hai. Aur tum mujhe rokne ki koshish bhi mat karna. Malhar, mein apna sab kuch kho chuki hun. Ek Moksh hi hai joh mera apna hai. Mein jaanti hun ki mein isse uss Kalyani se toh achi hi parvarish de sakti hun. Woh bas ek Aayabaai hai. mein Moksh ki asli Aai hun. Aur iss baar mein aisa nahi likh sakti ki mujhe Kalyani ne madad ki hai, kyunki hum dono jaante hai ki Kalyani iss cheez mein kabhi meri madad nahi karegi. Aur ek hi jhooth baar baar bolne se uss jhooth ki value kam ho jaati hai. Mujhe dhundhne ki koshish mat karna. Aur haan, jis dor pe tumhara aur Kalyani ka rishta bhandha hua hai, who toh mein le gayi Malhar. Kya ab bhi tum uss Kalyani se shaadi nibha paaoege? 

Kalyani was crying by the time she had reached the end of the letter. How could one person betray them, again and again? When she read the letter she realized Sampada had kidnapped Pillu. Her Pillu. She had taunted both of them in the letter, she had laughed in their faces. She had taken away Moksh. She had taken away her precious Pillu.  

MALHAR watched as Kalyani began to cry mid-letter. He could understand what she was going through; he was going through the same thing. He, however, was prepared for the battle that would ensue. He was thinking of how to get Moksh back. He had to, because otherwise he would dwell on the fact that Sampada had betrayed him again. She had lied to him again and again. He had to focus on Moksh, because otherwise he would dwell on the contents of that letter. He had to train his mind to get control of himself. It would be the best course of action right now.  

But as he watched Kalyani, he saw she was about to fall. Her legs were shaking, her whole body was shaking. He moved towards her, caught a hold of her. She looked him in his eyes, and he could see the storm in them. He could see the worry in them. They reflected in his own eyes. She crumbled. A whole body shaking sob rattled her. He grabbed her shoulders and she supported herself on his arms. She supported herself, and couldn't and fell onto him. Her head on his chest, her hands grabbing his shirt. Then one sob turned into many, and then she was crying. She was crying and he didn't know what to do. He looked to Maai. She gave him a look. He understood what he was supposed to do, he just didn't know how to do it? But she nodded reassuringly at him and he moved his hand to her back and hugged. He consoled her. He took care of her. 

And while doing this, he cried with her, he let her console him. He let her take care of him. He comforted her, and she comforted him. He finally felt that he could lean on her at times, rather than shutting off his emotions. However, Moksh was the priority now. They had to stop, they had to find him. And to do that, he would need her help. Her and Aai's. He asked Maai with his eyes to take Kalyani from him. Maai came to them, but Kalyani wasn't ready to leave him. She didn't let him go. He signaled Maai to wait. He slowly cupped her face in his hands, made her look into his eyes and said, "Mein kahi nahi jaa raha, bas do minute mein aa raha hun." she looked at him and asked, "Pakka?" He nodded, she further asked, "Promise?" He sometimes forgets that she is jus a kid. She is just 18 years old. Unknown to many of the ways of the world. The thought that she believes that no one would break a promise makes him somber. He replies, "Promise." He then goes outside. He goes outside and calls the police station to order a raid at Atharva's mansion, and all the places that had been connected to Sampada and Atharva before they had come back. 

KALYANI was numb. She didn't know what she would do without Pillu. She didn't know what they would do without Pillu. They would break apart. Because Pillu is the tie that binds them together. Without Pillu, they are nothing, as a couple and as well as individuals. Because she knew how much they both depend upon Pillu. Pillu is the only source of happiness in Malharji's life. How can Sampada take him away? She fumed. She didn't know how Aatya could blindly trust Sampada again? How can she when Sampada has already betrayed them once? She furiously got up from the space that Aai had made her sit in and proceeded to Aatya. She growled, "Aatya aap firse kaise vishwaas kar sakti hai Sampada par. Usne humare saath itna sab kuch kiya, usne Malharji ke saath itna sab kuch kiya, usne Pillu ko kitna hurt kiya hai, fir bhi Sampada ke ek jhooth pe aap ne bharosa kar liya. Agar aap ki wajah se Pillu ko kuch bhi hua na toh mein aapko chodungi nahi." She warned Aatya. After all everything that was happening right now was because of her and her blind faith in her daughter.  

MALHAR came to Jhaansi Ki Rani making threats against the vamp of the story. He was so proud of her. Yes, she had broken down. Yes, she was standing again. Yes, she could help him find Moksh. He could depend on her. But, this was not the time to play the blame game. He had to calm her down. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to reach Sampada and Moksh in time. 

He went towards her, and moved her away from Aai. He gave Aai a cursory glance, to let her know he too blamed her, but wanted to control the situation, so was not saying anything. He grabbed Kalyani by her shoulders and made her sit down. They passed a look, and Malhar left to interrogate Aai. 

He asked Sampada's Aai, in the tone he uses to interrogate someone, "Aap mujhe woh har ek baat bataayiye, Sampada ke aane se jab tak aap uske saath thi, ek ek baat. Dhyaan rakhiye, kuch bhi miss nahi ho jaye." "Sampada aai thi aur mujhse kehne lagi-", but before she could continue, he asked "Kitne baje woh bhi bataayiye. Ek ek cheez." Aai was scared and nodded immediately. "Sampada kareeban 12 baje aai thi." And receded in to flashback of when she had come. 

"Aai aai, mein waapas aagai hun." Aparna was nostalgic, she was so happy. Her baby had returned. She said, "Acha kiya joh tum waapas aagayi, uss Atharva ke saath tum kabhi khush nahi reh sakti thi." Sampada's expression changed as soon as she mentioned Atharva. However, it was only for a second. So she didnt think anything of it. Sampada asked "Malhar kaha hai?" And she replied, "Jaha woh kaam karta hai. Seedhe lunch ke liye aayega. Itna jaldi bhool bhi gayi tum uske kaam ko." Sampada looked happy when she said malhar was not at home. She then happily asked where is Kalyani and she replied saying she was off to college. She then asked, "Mera bacha, mera Moksh kaha hai aai." So she took him to Moksh. And the happiness she saw on Sampada's face, the pure joy on seeing Moksh was amazing. She left them alone after a while. Because Sampada was holding Moksh while he was sleeping and there was nothing to worry about. Her daughter had come home to her family. She was ecstatic. 

Malhar brought Aai back from the flashback and asked her what Sampada was wearing, and Aai replied saying she was wearing a grey saree with a black blouse. He was done talking yo Aai, he began to move to Kalyani. But before he could Aai said, "Mujhe maaf kardo Malhar par mujhe pata nahi tha ke woh aisa kuch karegi." Malhar scoffed and said, "Meine maana ke aapko pata nahi tha ke woh aisa kuch karegi, but aapko pata hona chahiye tha Aai. Usne bahut kuch kiya hai. Toh yeh toh kehna hi nahi ki woh aisa kuch nahi kar sakti. Aur mein aapko maaf nahi kar sakta aai. Kyunki mein nahi jaanta ke aap Sampada se mili hui hai yaa nahi." Saying this he moved to Kalyani. It was important he questions kalyani too. He would get to know more. 

KALYANI was sitting and contemplating. 12 is the time that Pillu sleeps and he gets up at 3. Now it was 2.30. Which means they have to find Pillu within half an hour. Otherwise Pillu would start crying and everyone knows what happens when Pillu starts crying. She is just calculating things in her own mind when she sees Malharji kneel before her and hold both her hands. She could see the troubles in his eyes. She could see the pain. God! What has Sampada done? She could not deal with a broken Malharji. Not again. She turned her hands in his and held them, gripped them as tight as she could. They would find Pillu. Together. 

He asked her gently, "Aaj Moksh ne kya pehna tha?" And she looks at him. She knows he knows the answer to this question, but he is being routine. He is following rules. She nods, and understands and says, "Aaj Pillu ne white t-shirt pehni hai, woh trains wali, aur blue shorts pehne hai. Usne sar pe light blue colour ki cap pehni hai. Aur, aur aaj woh uska cream wala baby blanket nahi mil raha tha, toh meine aaj woh pink wali blanket mein usse odha hai. Malharji, 3 baje Pillu uth jayega, aur agar mein nahi rahi toh woh bahut royega. Please Malharji, aap usse dhundh ke laao. Please." Malharji looked at her and then he kissed her hands. He kissed her hands and said, "Mein kaise bhi Moksh ko waapas leke aaunga Kalyani. Yeh mera wada hai tumse." She nodded at Malharji, she believes in him. She trusts him. He would bring Pillu back. 

Something was itching in the back of her mind. She was confused. She felt like she was missing a detail. She saw as Malharji went to call the police station. She heard him describe Sampada and Pillu. She heard him say to look on bus stops, railways stations, etc. But something was bugging her. 

She remembered the time they had gone to mall. She remembered how she had bought Pillu a watch with GPS. She remembered how cool it had looked. She remembered it was blue. She remembered Pillu was wearing that watch today. Her eyes widened, she immediately got up and moved to Malharji. He noticed her and hanged up his phone. She reached him and he grabbed her upper arms. She said, "Malharji, aaj Pillu ne joh watch pehni hai usme GPS hai Malharji."  

MALHAR was surprised. This amazing woman had bought his son a watch with GPS. Wow! She had already been thinking. He looked at her gratefully. He called his station and told them to track the watch, as Kalyani went and grabbed the bill, he admired her quick thinking. They asked for the Track-ID of the watch and Kalyani ran back to him with the bill. He gave them the Track-ID and hanged up. Before he lost his nerve, he hugged Kalyani. He hugged her and thanked her and looked at her with admiration.  

He began to move towards the car, but Kalyani followed him. Before he could ask what she was doing, she sat on the passenger side. She looked at him and said, "Agar aapko lagta hai ki mein aapke saath nahi chalungi, toh aap ko galat lagta hai. Mein aapke saath chalungi bhi aur uss Sampada ko pakadwane mein aap ki help bhi karungi." She said this with determination. He could see there was no way out of this. So he let her do this. But he would prevent her if she voluntarily ran in harm's way. Who was he kidding? She would do whatever she wanted. He would not be able to stop her.  

The station called him and informed him of the location and told him that back-up is already waiting for him at the warehouse where the GPS has led them. He too arrived there and held his hand out, asking for her hand. She placed it in his and he cuffed her to the staring wheel. 

KALYANI was going to show that Sampada her real place. So when Malharji asked for her hand, she placed it in his and he cuffed her to the staring wheel. He cuffed her. To the staring wheel. How dare he? She looked at him furiously. But he calmly replied, "Do logon ki jaan khatre mein nahi daal sakta mein. Agar tum dono mein se kissi ko bhi kuch bhi ho gaya toh mein, mein kahi ka nahi rahunga. Isiliye tum yahi rahogi." 

Kalyani watched as he climbed put of the jeep. His emotional blackmailing was not gonna work on her. He looked at her and they shared a glance. His apologising and her's fuming. She saw as he went to the front of the squad and guided them inside the warehouse.  

She reached for a clip in her hair with her other hand. She opened her phone and looked at a video of how to open the cuffs. She applied and was free. And all this time there was a commotion taking place inside. 

MALHAR led his squad inside to see Sampada holding his child as a shield. Apparently She had heard all that was happening outside. She was behaving crazily. Yelling how Moksh belonged to her. She had gone mental. She used Moksh as a shield, which made his whole squad lower their guns. No one was going to shoot her, not with her holding Moksh. She moved to the exit of the warehouse. She was walking backwards. She got out of the warehouse. She was still walking backwards. 

She was distracted, laughing at him, tainting him but he was only focused at Moksh. He saw Kalyani in his peripheral vision. How the hell had she gotten out of the handcuffs? However, Kalyani looked at him and signalled him. They had a conversation just with their eyes. He understood what she was saying.  

He shot a bullet, which zipped past Sampada, startling her, and she lost her focus for a second. But that second was enough for Kalyani to grab Moksh from her. Kalyani took a hold of Moksh from a crazy Sampada, and two female officers ran to Sampada and arrested her and took her away to the police van. She was shouting the whole way. How she would come back, how she would have her Moksh back, but he wasn't paying attention.
