KYM had always messed up the calendar so one is not sure what time of the year one is in. Here are the few things which I tried to piece together to figure out which part of the year we are in.
-Milsi's stay in Turkey - Now on the face of it, it appears he was in for two months. But then the PIM track came and messed it all up. Going by the fact that Milsi believed Prachi was Ritwik's mother and he met Prachi in later, it would mean that the entire time Prachi was supposed to be pregnant, Milsi was in . Since the baby is actually Suki's, that would mean atleast 7 - 8 months (since he was in when the Suki-Alaap matter broke out ).
-Milsi's return from and marriage to Prachi - Since Milsi was introduced in the show during the Janmashtami celebrations (which is normally in August) and a certain amount of time elapsed after that (let us presume 2 months or so) when the Suki-Alaap affair broke out and Milsi swore revenge against the Shahs, he must have left for round about October. So Milsi may have returned from and married Prachi around (though in the show it was in July).
The time Milsi hated Prachi - Assuming that Michi got married in , Milsi's feelings for Prachi changed round about mid-August when the independence day celebrations were on. That would mean that the pure hate phase was about 3 months.
Discovery of raaz by Prachi - This was soon after the second janmashtami celebrations when they went on the picnic. They even mentioned the date here (September 7).
Ritwik's birthday- We are told Ritwik completed one year of existence on October 24. This remains the biggest puzzle of the show, for on September 7th when Prachi came to know of his existence, he was only a month old. That means he was born in August when Michi were already (Strangely Milsi believed Prachi to be Ritwik's mother when he was still married to her at the time of his 'birth'). And within a month he completed his first year in existence (super baby indeed). Later on when Alaap finds Suki's medical records, he finds that she got pregnant on January 26, 2007. That would mean Suki would have delivered the baby around about the time his first birthday was being celebrated. Moreover, how did she manage to concieve after three-four months from her sleeping with Alaap?(which must be in - considering Milsi left for Turkey after that). Ritwik's birth history can make anyone lose his/her sanity.
Michi's anniversary - By my calculation that should be in May. But they are silent about the date. The PIM track broke out soon after Ritwik's birthday. It must have been in itself because they showed the KC night celebration (which is in ) after the PIM track broke out . They did not bother to show us Diwali celebration or new year celebration. So if the anniversary was indeed in May then Prachi's suffering and Milsi's pain as a result of PIM track were far longer than I thought (more than 7 months!) .
The latest celebration to be shown in Teej Puja- I understand there are three different dates when teej pujas are celebrated. All three are sometime in August-September. So going by this latest piece of information we seem to be in August 2008.
I must say from the above tracking of events in KYM, it appears Milsi is not the only one having PA . The creatives seem to be having PA left, right and centre and dont you think we, poor viewers, should be the ones who should forget this whole nightmare called Kayamath these days?.
