I think it is done on purpose to make the Agarwal clan look poor and Sameer's people look rich. Most of the Agarwal house ppl look very shabbily dressed I feel...I didn't like Prethi's dress as well ...looks like Mami is going to have a joy ride this wedding...I can only say Poor Naina and family.

Sorry got carried away and had to share this.

Imagine so many hungamas happening in a marriage the stress the family would be facing...but yes 😆 it is a drama and we are enjoying but please don't kill the essence of the function.

I was disappointed with the costume Naina was given fro the Sangeet...it was so dull ..agreed they wanted to show Madhuri's HAKH get up but the color was bright and poor Naina was given a dull low budget costume.

I am also not happy with this Rinki character brought in and in the bargain Preeti and Swati have been sidetracked..and the song Didi tera dewar was meant for the main lead why did they give it to Kamia and Rinky..they could have shown as a dream and Naina and Preeti enacting it.

Anyways love my show too much but please show us the magic that our show once had.

I don't know why Rinki was brought in ...instead they could have brought Rohan or Shanti teacher...people who should be needed for the wedding is not there...Principal was bought in just for getting Rakesh to attend...wont he attending the wedding ??? When they could get so many people to stay at TT 's house , they could have brought in the character which the viewers enjoyed rt?? Cant understand the logic behind the choice of people for the wedding ...there is no reference of Deepika or Rohan... 😕

I am sure the marriage scene would be perfect. The CVs won't rob us of that. They are trying to add drama to show how despite all odds against them they made it I am also hoping that Naina's hair issue will be resolved in time and she will look gorgeous. ITV bride has to look gorgeous 😆 The hair mess is to add humour, or at least that's what CVs think they are doing. Agree with all, we all deserve one incident in Samaina's lives where all is happy and positive. What better than their wedding. CVs sun rahe ho??😆
Also enjoying reading forum friend's personal wedding day memories. Wanted to share mine too. I am a South Indian married to a North Indian. When the wedding talks were going on , both families met to decide which customs to follow. Since, it was an inter caste wedding both me and my husband decided we could do a temple wedding or a court wedding so as not to hurt sentiments of either of the families. I personally always wanted a traditional South Indian wedding.

So while we met at my husbands place, my mom in law took me to another room, without even discussing with my husband and told me that in a wedding, it is always the bride's dreams and desires over and above everything. Brides always have a dream to look a certain way, do certain rituals. She said ladkon ka kya hai, dhoti kurta ya kurta pajama pehn ke kahin bhi baith jayenge 😆I don't wan't 25 years hence you look back and regret things about your wedding day. So she asked me to feel free and tell me what kind of a wedding I wanted coz this day won't come again. When I said I wanted a traditional South Indian wedding but didn't want to force if anyone is uncomfortable. She said you have to be comfortable, I will make the rest comfortable. My husband couldn't care less of the rituals. He just wanted to marry me😆I had a beautiful fairy tale South Indian wedding without a single glitch. My MIL was right, after so many years there isn't a thing I would change about my wedding day. All thanks to my MIL and with that she got my love and respect for a lifetime.

In the show when Vishakha was throwing a tantrum especially about sarees, rings, I was reminded of my MIL and how when she took charge, the entire family just followed.😛 Hoping when the time comes for my son, I can follow suit.

I think all this lehngha thing is because they are following the movie..the designers could use their brains n come up with something nice for her...it looks dull.

I think sameer's look is also what the groom wore in the movie...if I'm not mistaken...
What r the designers for??
Couldn't they research n find a nice design for naina...n above all her hair is messed up...poor girl...aur kya kya hoga...

Exactly...never expected this dull drab lehenge for Naina during Sangeet...even on normal days the color would look so dull forget during Sangeet that is so special...I agree with all of you as simplicity and realistic scenes were the USP of the show...why is it missing and I agree with all that Naina and Sameer are so special for us...we have seen them grow in front of our eyes from bachchas to adolescents to teenagers and now adults getting married...the show is so close to our heart...never before felt this way and especially the 90s backdrop makes us nostalgic and go back to those days 😳 😭 so much we look forward to and their marriage is so special for us...please CVs consider our state of mind and attachment and love for our show. where is the school days magic missing 😭

Lehenga came from groom's side so I expected sameer and Vishakha to choose best one and twin it with sameer's wedding look

But as per pics it's not matching..
let's see
