They did this same stupid thing in Thapki...Pyaar Ki, by making a 22/23-year old Jigyasa Singh the mother of a 20-year old daughter (double role at that!). Though she did a marvellous job, she paid a heavy price - health-wise. And the serial stopped soon after - abruptly.
