Actually, unless it is a situation where one has to physically defend either themselves or a loved one, it is not okay for anyone to behave in a wanton manner with others, whether it is man on woman, woman on man, man on man, woman on woman etc. And similarly, if someone hits another person for no reason or over a stupid reason, then he or she should not be surprised if that same person hits him or her back.
