He dreamt big

He put the films before the franchise

That's not an easy thing to achieve. He is reason that Marvel is the model that everyone else in Hollywood is rushing to ape.

Wolverine is very relateable. Most every one has struggled with anger, and not letting it get the best of them. Logan is always trying to keep from getting overwhelmed by the Beast inside.

As humans, we also have had the desire to be able to lash out at the things that are hurting us. In this way, we are living vicariously through him. On a very basic level,watching him tear through his enemies is in some ways cathartic, with out having to suffer the consequences of our actions.

Finally, he is real'. What you see is what you get. Logan doesn't put on pretenses to try to get someone to like him. He says what he thinks. You can trust him to be be exactly what he seems.
