Knowing Zain, I don't think this is romantic role like Neil was. If he does the same thing he did in NK, one it will be boring for the audience and I am sure it will be boring for him too. Plus the intense romance role is not Zain's cup of tea. Many times Aditi helped pull off those scenes.
He has chosen varied roles. TEI was different from NK which is what made NK fresh and interesting.
Zain is a smart cookie. He is going to chose a role that is different.
I am admiring his marketing skills. Dipti incident happened, he was kind of abrupt at the AdiZa segment. Fans were upset. He was quiet for a while and fans were quiet too. He then send a tweet about loving NK fC then he reposted an AvNeil VM about missing and being emotional. All the fans that were upset just fell for his emotional pull. He then did the AskZain tweet.
Just watch, his next tweet is going to be his new show. You have to admire Zain. If I were Aditi, I will ask Zain for advice or use Zain as my marketing manager.
Anyway I admire Zain and I am just following him to see how he manipulates fans for his benefit. More power to him and hope he has made the right choice in his new show. Having huge fan following helps but does not guarantee success. I think as far as glamorous and famous goes, you cannot get better than what Dipti has pulled together for this show. Looks like all the female artists have huge fan followings too. To me content/chemistry is going to be the King. Ultimately the PH and the writer decides the fate of the show.
Best luck To Zain.
@Bold This segment was shot the day he was leaving to Vietnam, the same day he boarded his flight I think, way before the Dipti incident so it has nothing to do with it, Rakesh posts the segment in parts, if Zain was in a hurry haven't u considered the possibility of him wanting to finish packing and go to board his flight ?!!
If Zain disliked Aditi, and had some major problem with her, I doubt he would have shot her birthday segment in his house, neither would she have accepted coming to his house for it, while we know she refused other gift segments, one of which is the Glitz Vision wala, Glitz Vision people themselves replied in a tweet about the same
And honestly I've read many of ur replies here but I honestly think you are going a bit overboard in being judgmental yes it is your opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion but it sounds a bit mean at times when at the end you say best of luck to Zain while the other things u say point to u actually disliking the guy, I might be wrong though
For example in your previous post you said " He is just a self obsessed actor", "he is all about making money", "he manipulates fans" I mean how demeaning to reduce someone to just one thing while a person is made of both of qualities and flaws. Loving your career and working for it doesn't make u a bad person, grabbing the opportunities that come your way is a good thing because not everyone is lucky enough to get opportunities, so when u get them, you thank God for them and you appreciate them as well as the people who helped you. The day you sit at home jobless, people won't be there for you, maybe few close ones and these too would get tired at some point, that's the reality of life, his choices might prove right or wrong, time will tell, but it's riskier to stay idle without doing anything
The guy has shown respect to his fans and thanked them and appreciated them, and not only now, even before he becomes famous and during the days of Tashan e ishq, why do some people think that he always has an intention or a hidden motive behind what he does, yes at times he might be diplomatic but it doesn't mean he is doing everything in a calculated way and that he is not honest or genuine about his love for his fans. He is a human being too, he has feelings, and people who have known him personally, his coactors and people who interacted with him said that he is a nice guy, why do some people try to depict him as a matlabi person who uses people!! I came across a Video of Viraf Patel who said that when he came to shoot for his death sequence in Naamkarann as Ashish Mehta, Zain gave him his make up room which used to be Viraf's in the pre leap, he was not compelled to do that, neither he did it for publicity, no one knew about it till Viraf himslef told about it, I feel some people judge Zain a lot without knowing him, yes he has his share of flaws and yes he is very serious about his career but that doesn't make him sly the way some try to depict him
Since you were honest about telling what u think, I wanted to give a perspective of how some of the adjective or adverbs u used might sound to people, and honestly that again is my own opinion, your write ups seem to show an underlying comparison between Zain and Aditi, as in Aditi is genuine, Zain is not, Aditi is good at intense scenes, Zain is not, Aditi can create chemisty with any actor, but Zain can't, excited for Aditi's new show but not for Zain's etc etc I mean do people even think about how the other person might feel when they read that, as if Zain has no feelings, the amount of bashing he gets for almost every single thing he does, or says, even when he does nothing he is still criticized and almost everything is being interpreted as per the whims of people, some fans at times use some demeaning even abusive words, and they even cross the limits of decency at times, actually Zain is patient for standing the constant interference in both his personal and professional lives, yes he is a public figure but it doesn't mean people can disrespect him this way as if they are saints themselves always ready with a sentence
Another thing, with regards to the use of "Zainians", I feel it's the right word to use for Zain's fans, even AdiZa fans who love Zain come under the category of Zainians as well, if you love AdiZa it means that you love both Aditi and Zain, so if Zain calls u zainian, what's wrong about it, it means all the Zainians who love him whether they are KYY fans, ya Tashan e ishq, ya NK, ya IB, ya KKK9, why does he have to apologize for that, he has his own identity away from a show or a jodi no matter how much that show was successful or the jodi, it's highly unfair to criticize him upon that as well. I understand that people love Aditi, she seems to be a nice, sweet girl, not a show off but to blame Zain for what happens with her is unfair in my honest point of view, Zain never prevented her from grabbing the opportunities ya attending award shows, ya doing segments, some few people blame him even when she doesn't attend Gul's gatherings or saying he didn't invite her to his restaurant launch, haven't they wondered that maybe it's her choice to not attend, and some talk about respecting women, but excuse me to say many of them are disrespectful toward other women just because they were seen with Zain, then isn't it a bit hypocritical. If someone says Aditi has put on weight, it 's perceived as body shaming but when other girls are criticized for their looks, ya dressing sense, ya make up, sometimes even their own character etc by the same fans they feel it's ok!! If we are going to be honest, let's try to remove the double standards and the bias, yes people would feel inclined towards their favorites or the person they like but it doesn't have to be in an unfair way, you can still love your favorite without putting others down
I hope you won't take offense at what I said, yes I addressed certain things u mentioned in your replies but many other things are general observations about what I see or read here and there of how some fans behave.
Another thing is people whenever Zain does something they don't like, they try to portray him as ungrateful to how fans voted for him and trended etc, yes some might have done it because they genuinely like him for who he is, or let's say for who they perceive he is because we can never know a celebrity, we would only know what they show us on social media or our perceptions from their interviews etc but many of them do it just because they liked his character or because of the feels they get as AdiZa shippers and not because they really care about him because if they really respected him they wouldn't be the first to jump to judge him and sometimes use some abusive language for him and accuse him of things they are not fully aware of, you can not know a person based on one single incident, or two, sometimes jo dekta hai wo hota nahi aur jo hota hai wo dekta nahi, only God knows about people's intentions
You also called Aditi naive in your previous post, I think she is much more perceptive than you give her credit to, she is of the kind of people who think before doing anything (again it's my opinion based on some of her interviews and her attitude in general in keeping silent at times or replying after a while), yes I find her polite, nice and soft spoken but she has a brain of her own, and whatever she does, is her own decision, now I don't know her personally to tell about the reasons behind her decisions but all I know is that she is responsible for them, I doubt anyone is trying to play any fareeb with her, use her or hurt her on purpose
One last thing, I feel many people though they claim they respect Zain's choices and love him, youwould feel from their tweets ya posts that they actually don't really wish him well for his new endeavor, I mean what's the use of tagging him telling him best of luck but I won't watch your show! better to not wish him at all LOL, I mean watch or not is your own decision, for example if the show is a saas bahu type or not good, many of us won't watch it but what's the use of informing him that you won't watch yet wish him good luck, aur to aur some are ready for his show just to bash it or make comparisons, is that really what wishing someone good means, yaar it's better if he had no eyes on him, at least he would get a fair chance of seeing his work liked or disliked but not disliked beforehand and surrounded with negativity
