I had earlier made a post that guddan story has similarities with the classic novel Rebecca where a naive young girl get married to a millionaire who is older and rebecca was his first wife .
They are indeed following it in a broad way. In rebecca it was the housekeeper who had raised rebecca and who hated the hero and his new wife , she keeps instigating the young wife and keeps talking about rebecca to her. here rawat is doing that . She also make the heroine wear a gown very similar to rebecca . constant jaap of rebecca . here rawat is constantly on .
But this is a very positive thing .Rebecca was a classic tale. If our show borrows even a bit it will be great . of course it will all lead to akshat guddan falling in love . The novel ended there but here its a daily show . It needs all ingredients to keep it on for 6 days a week. its not easy .
They will change many aspects from the novel for present time and a daily soap.
But it will be interesting
I have been waiting for a show on rebecca for so long . Had made requests to channels too.
Will make me very happy if Guddan follows it a. WIll be gripping .
I am eagerly waiting for this track
