Okay folks...get ready for manipulated shaadi--- a variation of forced shaadi. For generations it has been a trend in the Oberoi family: Oberoi men marry women beneath their status forcefully and Oberoi daughters marry the dregs of society by getting manipulated. I cite examples of Shakti Singh Oberoi,Shivaay Singh Oberoi,Omkara Singh Oberoi,Priyanka Singh Oberoi in both RU and AU of Ishqbaaaz. So how can the later generations break that tradition? Radhika is married to a first class naali ka keeda and Shivaani wants to marry a spineless earthworm (for now that is ANNULED). Now there is an upcoming twist------something FRESH 😃 Hallelujah!
The plot seems that Varun will twist things in such a way that Shivaansh will have to marry Mannat by hook or crook! So manipulated forced shaadi it is! Whatever it is,shaadi is a must in Gul Khan shows and the first between the leads has to be highly abnormal.😆 Keep aside the fact that there will be a second,third,fourth and maybe fifth shaadi (of course in various styles!😆) between the leads as show goes on because it seems TRP maatas looove shaadis.😆
Now why there will be a manipulated forced shaadi ? Because iss ko chodke aur koi plot likha nahi jaata CVs ko.Jokes apart,a clause in Shivansh's will says that if Shivaansh dies early his property will go to his wife and if he lives then money goes to a trust in Radhika's name from which she will get a monthly allowance of measly 1 lakh. The trust will close when Radhika is 50 years.So Shivaansh has to marry AND then die for Varun(reborn version of Daksh) to get hold of that lovely lucre and also he has to marry someone who can be manipulated by Varun and Co. So who better than Mannat? 😃 and hence folks I give it 2 weeks. In two weeks ladki in and the time tested,cookie cutter formula of man and woman hating each other but at the same time loving each other and the cliched family remaining oblivious to the undercurrents will be there.
I just hope some new circumstances are created.😃
By the way, Shivaay Singh Oberoi is partially back------ stop! Before there is a miscommunication and the entire disheartened female fan following dances the Highland Fling,it's the copy version and NOT the original.😆 Unfortunately,there will ever be only one Beast Singh Oberoi and that is SSO! Like some artists can never recreate the magic of their famous work in their later works,similarly Nakuul Mehta could not bring that menace in his act today which he had once created as Shivaay Singh Oberoi. To give his due,he appeared somewhat deranged when he stopped Mannat from going to collect Munni,snatched the phone from her,called Munni and sweet talked her to go home alone and did not care that the child may get lost but the act fell short of his own set standard.😕
The show runner stalked our threads and is aware of the hullabaloo about the flooding of Mumbai from the constant watering of Mannat's lacrymal glands and so decided to close the leaking ducts. Mannat Kaur Khurana had enough and decided to stop the vapid fangirling and gave a piece of her mind to the beta of legendary SSO. Unfortunately,the piece of mind lacked the sass! Firstly, Niti Taylor needs diction classes. She eats half of the syllables and the result loses the effect needed. Also,for a heavy weight takkar scene,the eyes,mouth,face,body and mind needs to be in tandem,otherwise the scene will be flat.Where was the fire in the eyes,the strength in the mind,the tightly coiled energetic body and the cold,passionate anger in Mannat when she promised to pay Shivaansh back for his misdeed?
PS : For a destitute woman with 45 rupees in her bag,Mannat sure wears Salwar suits worth not less than 7000-8000/- 😆
