some questions about the serial

Hi everyone😃 I started watching dil hi toh hai from beginning, but after ritwick palak marriage started loosing interest and watched on and off. i watched till palak started working for vikrant, then only watched last one or two episodes. just came to know that mamta told palak to leave ricky.

Palak found out Geeta is Rithwik's mom and had to protect him from finding out about her. But Rithwik finds out and gets angry at Palak.
Geeta told Palak the truth that she left VP and Rithwik because she was sick and going to die. But then some man helped her get better and when she returned to them, they were already with Mamta.
Mamta knew the truth about Geeta but kept it from Rithwik and VP. She then asked Palak to leave Rithwik because they (VP and Rithwik) will never believe Geeta's truth (basically Mamta was being selfish).
So Palak pretends to have an affair with Vikrant, tells Rithwik she was only with him for money, and leaves from his life.
Then she finds out she's pregnant.
