Looks really good- except one usual gripe- Sonam's diction, dialog delivery and that annoying voice...This has always been her shortcoming, wonder why she doesn't work on it...Because otherwise she is a good actress IMO!

Didn't like this trailer much. Too OTT it was. But I am guessing the movie would be good.

This was very melodramatic brought down further by the absolute bad acting by Sonam... god the dialogue delivery and expressions are so bland... it really brought the trailer down... this was not good at all...

Seriously that scene where is giving that dialogue 'aap jo chahe karlo' or something, it felt like a Sobo girl delivering her lines with a twang.

Yup. They are repeating the same mistake as that of Lootera. The first trailer of both the films were beautiful, the second was too dramatic and in your face. This one looks TV serial like. I think they fear many people aren't getting the theme of the film.

Exactly! My mom said it looks really sweet and Sonam-RKR pair is looking good, after watching the first trailer...Just like Anil Kapoor in the movie, she was also in some other trip! 😆

Ugh, I LOVED the first trailer, but hated the second one. Sonam's acting is too OTT and cringey.

Loved this trailer!! The drama is fun!! It's a masala film there has to be some melodrama. I loved it!!!

Why are peeps hating on this trailer? I thought it looked better than the 1st. 😔 (looked for a headscratcher emoji; didn't find one).

BW mainstream movie, right? You expect some melodrama. I think it will connect better with viewers than an arthouse type movie.

I have mixed feelings. Personally, I am not a fan of drama. But I think in the context of the theme it makes sense. It may be a bit over dramatized but its very real. I am sure Ghazal has incorporated her own coming out (being outed) experiences and/or drawn from the LGBT community.
I also like the way the family is portrayed. It is a small town rural family. They are traditional in many ways. But they are in no way regressive. They are completely fine arranging the girl's marriage with a Muslim. They are open minded and seem to care about her wishes. But her homosexuality may be one step too far for them to embrace easily.

I've seen a lot of people complain that characterizations, especially of small-town folks tend to be one-note. They are either close-minded and regressive or they are rebelling against everything. That is why I'm loving the writing so far. They are a small town rural family - they are neither completely progressive nor are they regressive. Similarly, Sweety is not a crazy rebel nor is she someone who wants to just bend down to norms because its expected.
