Will Ishaan connect the dots?

I don't really expect any writing from this show that makes sense. But still after the promo I have to wonder. Once Ishaan finds out that Sandhya told Mauli to cut all ties with the Malhotras he would know for sure why Mauli broke their engagement. So will he wonder how convenient it was that Mauli was forced to leave the Malhotra house at the perfect time? It is weird that he didn't wonder why someone who was helping him and Mauli will want to hurt her at the same time. I really hope he wonders.
