Just heard the very encouraging rumour. Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants to make a film based on the life of a great Maratha warrior, kind of a sequel to #bajiraomastani and Ranveer Singh has agreed to star in it again. Great if that happens, no?

Seems too far fetched to be true

There was supposed to be an announcement by SLB on Padmaavat anniversary about his new film but no news yet.

I do not believe this.

1. Ranveer is booked until 2020 with Relieve 83 and TAKHT

2. Bhansal- in the interview with Anupama- declared he will start shooting his next movie in September 2019.

3. Ranveer wants to do a movie with Bhansali but even he knows this wopuld be too soon... Bhansali also declared he wants to do a movie with SRK- Salman or one of them only.

4. Bhansali has said he wants to produce a mopre light hearted movie next- see his interview with Anupama for reerrence.

5. The tweet is mocking SLB - so either someone that doesn't like SLB or someone that's envious of him. Could also be probably from PR of a star ( or a fan of some star) that didn't get their rumoured casting with him.

na i dont think this is true, rs is busy for the next 2 years with other films, and slb seems to be interested in other stories, plus slb does not repeat the kind of movies he does, so i doubt he wud make another movie about a maratha warrior

I don't think this true at all. RS has always said he will never play similar roles/characters. He already played a Maratha warrior so I'm certain he would never agree to play a Maratha warrior so soon after BM.

The tone of the tweet seem to be mocking SLB and RS more than anything.
