i am sorry if i hurt anyone , plz folks i did not mean to hurt anyone ,just my true feelings only ,but i really didnot like the story as it was full of treacherous plots of duryodhan & his brothers & i really didn't like tht draupdi having 5 husbands, all the ppl in mahabharat were involved in making treacherous plans n all tht !

but ofcourse GITA was genius & rest i really didnot like it !! it's my point of view only !!! 😛

In a land where tolerance is a virtue and freedom of speech is a right, we should not be offended by others opinions! Who gave us the right to judge people? If sita11 does like Mahabharat, it is her opinion entirely. How can she "offend" anyone by saying that she doesn't like it? 😕. How can anyone force her to like it?

And dear sita 11, Ramayan and Mahabharat happened in two seperate "yugs". In "Satyayug" there were no villians. Ramayan happened in "tretayug" when kaal's one leg broke and there was just one Ravan born. Mahabharat happened in "dwaparyug" where kaal two legs broke and there were 1000 Ravans born. We now live in "Kalyug" where kaal is standing on just one leg and there are countless Ravans. That is the way of life - Life is like a roller coaster. There are good things and there are bad things. Bad things do not happen to good people intentionally. They happen, becoz of one's destiny. Even Gods are not spared of their destiny.

Again just my opinion folks. Both epics are great and teach us the value of tolerance. Don't want to stir up debates where people take "offense" to my opinion.

yup!! i agree tht after dwapar yuga ,kalyuga started so there was a lot of treacherous scheming being done in MAHABHARAT , brothers fought with each other for pieces of land ,draupadi was insulted in front of her inlaws,draupadi was treated as object & was betted by her husband yudhisthara ,every sort of treachery happened in MAHABHRAT , it showed a glimpse of kalyuga !!

😆 wah kya zamaana aaya hai. we are comparing potatoes to mahabharat now. and please.....no one take offense to my comment either.

Yeah even I don't like Draupadi having 5 husbands.... neither do I like Mahabharat....its ok but I'm not enthused into reading it!

As for Ramayan...there are parts that I don't like in it too...Ram and Sita's separation and the agni pariksha and all that I didn't like and how Sita ultimately goes to her mother..the earth (or something like that...I'm not too sure since I haven't read the story)

And Lady Macbeth...nice blasting😆 but I totally agree with you on that score!😳

btw,9x is not airing ekta's Mahabharat check this http://www.indiantelevision.com/interviews/y2k8/executive/in drani_ed.php so maybe it will be on a different channel like sony or zee next...or maybe it will air on ndtv imagine at a different time as ekta knows she can't compete with sagars 😆

by the way i won't be liking ekta's MAHABHRAT to be aired on NDTV IMAGINE , ndtv imagine only fixed for only one superb mythological show THAT IS RAMAYAN !!!

true it shouldn't air on ndtv imagine maybe some channels like zee next or saharaone..if not ndtv will be filled with boring ekta shows..maybe she should start a channel to air just her shows
