Was her character only limited to giving Jhanvi an opportunity to be in palace by taking her place and shooting as her.
Kundani Roy's and Jhanvi's resemblance was mentioned so much since day 1, so much that it seemed like Kundani Roy and Jhanvi have some connection, but they will show her dead now as per latest offscreen segment.

Looks like that daayan killed her. There was some mention in last episode that doctor were unable to identify her illness so couldn't treat her.
